CarolNYC
Looking for a room in CP-South, Downtown - Soho, ESB, HK, ME, MW, or TS for 6 nights. There are 3 of us (me and my two daughters ---15 and 13). Is there a way to bid on a room that will accomodate 3 people? We are currently booked in Long Island but would love to treat my daughters to a Manhattan stay. I'm hoping to keep it under $185 for a 3.5 or 4 star. Any help would be great! Thank you. thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! With PRICELINE there is no way to on a room for triple occupancy. HOTWIRE does allow you to search for up to quad occupancy per room, but searching for your dates above things are a bit out of your current budget... best offering is a 3*, which i'm guessing is the Holiday Inn on 57th St, for $229/nite.To clarify, are you currently booked in Long Island or in Long Island City??Is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. WillTravel
That Holiday Inn on 57th Street can also be booked directly for $229 per night for a triple, which would save the fees (and it's possible to use a link from this site too). Link to comment
CarolNYC
Not sure I willing to split up the booking ... but I will if need be. We are currently booked at the Verve Hotel at 40-03 29th Street, Long Island City, NY, US, 11101. Two queen beds for $968 + tax for the six nights. Looks to be close to the train station that will take us into Manhattan. Not planning on spending a lot of time in the hotel ... any advice would be great. Thank you. Link to comment
thereuare
Searching HOTWIRE for your dates, 1adult/2children there is nothing offered within manahattan at $185 or less. The idea of SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID would be to spend part of your stay at a less expensive hotel outside of the city and then, with the money saved, stay in a more expensive hotel within Manhattan.I think it would be risk bidding on PRICELINE for more than double occupancy in NYC.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed.
