I followed Beckles example and bid Downtown and Convention Center zones.

Dates are 6/20 - 6/22.

My first bid was $49 and I was asked to increas my bid by $10. I added French Quarter and increased my bid by $2 and got the Hilton.

$51.00

Number of Rooms: 1

Number of Nights: 2

Subtotal: $102.00

Taxes and Fees: $24.28

Total Charges*: $126.28

I just came back from New Orleans last week and I am on my way to pick up my son from visiting my parents for 2 weeks.

Thanks again

I received a phone call from a friend of mine who would like to join me on this road trip. I called Priceline and asked if there was any way to get another room at this rate. Priceline connected me to their sale department who offered a room at $199. I then phoned Hilton and asked for a discounted rate after explaining rate I received through priceline.

Again, the Hilton would not budge on their listed rate.

I bit the bullett and used this site's PRICELINE link and placed another bid. 4* Hotel, Convention Center/Warehouse District, dates 20-22 Jun, rate $52.00.

I won another room at the New Orleans Hilton Riverside. Thanks again Better Bidding.
