wallstreet86
I am heading to Orlando with my family at the end of July. Yhe prices I have been submitting for full , mid and standard cars have been about $22 and I have been rejected and asked to go higher to about $35.Will I have a better chance getting the car at a lower price if I wait until the date gets closer? Thanks,Steven Link to comment

thereuare
What are the actual dates of your trip? Was the $35 a counter-off (given to you after your bid, "we couldn't find a car at $22, but if you're willing to bid $35...") or was this $35 suggestion provided before you placed your bid, with a message along the lines of "that would be a good price, but not realistic, and we suggest $35 to better your chances")What is the best rate you're able to find thru conventional booking channels? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. thereuare
That's not technically a counter-offer and i wouldn't use that in your bid determination. What are the actual dates of your rental and what is the best rate (both per day and all-in including taxes and fees) you're able to find thru conventional booking channels? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
