Started at $40, increasing by $1 per bid via permutation bidding. Received a $56 counter @ $44, $59 counter @ $46, $62 counter @ $48, and $64 counter @ $50. Turned them all down, of course, when you have 31 free rebids, and finally had success at $52.

Time to go cancel the $117 reservation at the same hotel I had... :)

Of course, now I understand the permutation bidding. I have been bidding 3* and 2.5* for the Kansas City Stadium area for a few weeks now without success. I have gone up to $55 for both 3* and 2.5* properties. I have a conventional reservation already, but would like to save some money going wit PRICELINE. We will be in Kansas City for a few days and will be taking in a Royals game. I would like to be within walking distance of the ballpark, hopefully I will have some success as the date (June 30th) gets closer.
