Prior to Hotwire, our best rate, booking way ahead, was $155/night in the wintertime. When checking Hotwire for our dates this particular trip, the rates for the only 4-1/2* that came up time after time went down over a month or two from $13x, to $12x, to $115, then $105 (don't remember all the exact numbers). This is a magnificent hotel in every way. Though the location, for Boston, is not the very best (it's in the financial district, "quiet" at night, a longer walk to most places) they have complimentary limo service (often in a stretch) to wherever you want to go on weekends (you're on your own to return). Nothing like arriving at your Sunday brunch destination in a limo! Donna in Southern New Hampshire It doesn't cost any more to go first class - you just can't stay as long... Link to comment
