    Bonnet Creek Hotel 4/27-5/4

Welcome to BetterBidding! For this Priceline Express hotel offer: 4* Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $93/nite with: Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center ==> indeed, the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek would be my best guess for this one Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.

    4* Orlando FL (FEB 26 - MAR 1 2019)

Why would you even bid as high as $90, when the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer outlined above would basically be equivalent to a $86.45 bid (when using our Priceline Coupon for an extra 5% off): Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.

    NYC hotels

Welcome to BetterBidding! Rates are low for these dates (tbh, i'm somewhat surprised given the length of your stay) but depending upon how flexible you are in terms of zones, these are my thoughts... If you're flexible on zones i would suggest taking this Priceline Express offer (w/ the extra 5% discount offered thru the board's Priceline Coupon): 4.5* Madison Square Garden - Convention Area (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $150/nite with: Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Free Internet in room Fitness Center Free Internet in public areas ==> best guess for this property would be the Crowne Plaza HY36 Midtown Manhattan which is a fairly new hotel, gets excellent reviews, and is centrally located a couple of blocks from Penn Station for easy access to multiple subway lines. Not sure how you feel about this area, but it's just south of Hell's Kitchen and north of Greenwich Village, both of which you mentioned as being desirable (so i would think this would offer good access to both). Could you possibly bid on PRICELINE and get this for slightly less, but i wouldn't necessary want to take the risk of potentially landing a different 4.5* property in the zone in hope of saving a few dollars. If you're 'set' on the zones above, we can suggest a bidding strategy for you to follow, and you should be successful at under $175/nite, but again, you would need to willing to accept any 4.5 star (or higher) rated hotel in the zones that you're bidding, which puts something like Kimpton Ink48 Hotel New York into play (ie- a 4.5* hotel in the Hell's Kitchen zone) which gets very good reviews, but not exactly the most central of locations. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know your thoughts on the above (or how it goes if you take the guessed Crowne Plaza HY36 Midtown Manhattan offer above) and how you'd like to proceed, and we'll take it from there. PS- if you're new to priceline bidding, or if you bid often, you may notice that the Name Your Own Price is becoming more difficult to find as priceline is constantly moving/hiding it, we have therefore created the following page for easy access which you can bookmark and/or use: BiddingForHotelRooms.com
  7. Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you received a great deal at this property and that you're excited for your upcoming stay... we're happy to have helped! Thank you for sharing your results and using the HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchase. Have a great trip!

    Miami beach

As per the following link, the Metropolitan by Como, Miami Beach is currently 4.5 star rated by PRICELINE, so this would be a possibility when bidding the 4.5 star level, but not the 5 star level (since it would be the minimum star rating set by your bid). If you'd like to bid on a 5 star hotel in the Mid-Beach zone let us know your maximum bid price (a specific bid amount, not a range) and we will suggest a strategy for you to follow. My guess is that it is going to take close the top end of your previously indicated range, $350... or possibly even a few dollars more (so is it OK for a strategy to go as high as $350... or even higher?) Also, as PRICELINE continues to move/hide the Name Your Own Price bidding form, we have set up the following page which you can bookmark for easy access: BiddingForHotelRooms.com Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there.
  13. You can go to BiddingHelper.com, search for your dates, click the "Hotwire Easy View" tab to see listings for your dates and you can click the "What Hotel Is This?" button. While the $64 listing above is a bit over the $60 limit, the location is close to Disney Springs. Thank you for keeping us updated with what you decide or if we can be of any further assistance. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  14. You can also monitor rates at the Couryard (and any other hotels within walking distance) using our free RateDrop service. You can also set an alert for 3.5 star hotels in this zone at a price low enough to make the commute/uber ride worthwhile. If a hotel in this zone hits that price, you'll get an email notification. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you ultimately end up doing (even if it's keeping the hotel's wedding block rate)

    Miami, Brickell, 5 Star, February 21-23, 2019

I don't have firsthand experience with either hotel nor what your plans are during this pre-cruise stay so difficult for me to say what is 'better' (NOTE: for the future we also run Pre Cruise Hotels... please let your fellow cruisers know) The rate at the Epic seems good vs. current prices, but so does the following which is just above the Brickell zone and closer to the port: 5* HOTWIRE Downtown - Port of Miami for $238.00 Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ==> JW Marriott Marquis Miami is my best guess for this one (and just as well reviewed as the Kimpton Epic, as per TA) If cost is a concern (it doesn't appear to be but i'm just trying to give you options): 5* HOTWIRE Downtown - Port of Miami for $181.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Boutique Near Beach Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Hi-Speed Internet Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> best guess for this one would be the ME Miami by Melia... $50/nite cheaper and still 5 star rated but reviews not as good Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know you ultimately decide to do (even if it's stick with your current reservation) or how it goes if you take one of the above OR how we can be of further help.

    Disney Resort 4/20/19-4/26/19

Lucky4LeafClover, Welcome Back to BetterBidding! In the future please YOUR THREADS with whatever you decide to do for your trip (even if you don't end up using PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book a regular rate hotel, etc) as this helps keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone, as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans. As for your question above, sometimes HOTWIRE hotels (and PRICELINE EXPRESS too) will show a Bed Choice option which allows you choose the specific room class or configuration. If this is not shown, then the room is booked 'Run of House' meaning that it will be assigned at check-in based upon what is available; generally speaking you should expect a 'standard' room... upgrades can, and do, happen but it's not something that you should count on. Is the Animal Kingdom even showing thru HOTWIRE for your own dates of travel? If you need help with an upcoming trip please start a NEW TOPIC and include the details of your trip (dates, budget, acceptable zones, desired star rating, etc, etc) along with any hotel offers you want us to research. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  20. Congratulations on your success! Nice to see you received a great deal at this centrally located property and are pleased with the outcome. Thank you for sharing your win with the board. Please click the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Enjoy your stay.
  21. Happy to help. If the above aren't what you are looking for, what alternatives are you considering? Cheaper hotel + savings towards express pass? Let us know your thoughts and we would be happy to research other options in the area. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  22. Congratulations on your success! Looks like a very nice deal for these dates and hopefully it will work well for your plans while in the area. Thank you for using the HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchase and sharing your win, helping us update the Orlando Hotwire Hotel List with the new amenity set for this property . Enjoy your stay.

    5* North Strip 8/15/19-8/19/19

For the HOTWIRE results below i searched using BiddingHelper.com and for 1room/2adults/2children (to get closer to your 'true' occupancy and to potentially not include 4adults which may increase the price... one you make a decision you can see if there is a price difference between 2adults/2children vs. 4adults). Your original request for the Palazzo appears to now be available for $175/nite (less 10% when using our Hotwire Coupon😞 5* HOTWIRE Center Strip - Grand Canal Shoppes for $157 (2 Queen room for $176/nite - 10%) Free Parking Resort Suite Casino Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> best guess for this hotel is the Palazzo I do believe the Park MGM is also available thru HOTWIRE but for a 2 Queen room (not necessarily a suite): 4* HOTWIRE Center Strip - T- Mobile Arena for $124.00 Resort Pet Friendly Casino Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> best guess here is the Park MGM Priceline Express has this offer: 4* The Strip - Southwest (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $85/nite with: Restaurant Airport Shuttle Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center ==> this too i believe to be the Park MGM and one of the room types offers a 'suite' for $169/nite, however, it is not clear if this is the Nightingdale suite that you are referring to or some other type of suite (or if the 'standard' for this type of suite is 2 Queen beds, i would think that the standard for most suites is more typically 1King bed) Why not the interest in the Palazzo and/or Venetian... you're assured of 2 Queen beds (plus an extra couch), it is a higher rated hotel than the Park MGM (one of the top hotels in Vegas, imo), and exactly what you originally set out for and within your budget. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help.
  24. Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you got this leg of your trip settled, it turned out to be the well reviewed hotel you were hoping for, and that you were able to utilize the current Hotwire Coupon. Thank you for using the HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchase and sharing your win, helping us confirm this hotel and amenity set for the Rome Hotwire Hotel List. Enjoy this leg of your trip.
  25. There is a conference of Orthopaedic Surgeons from 3/12-3/16 with 32K attendees and the conference is at the Venetian. On 3/17 starts another conference with 46K attendees, and surely at least some (more likely a majority) will be arriving the nite before. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes (and note that our Hotwire Coupon expires tomorrow)
  26. Congrats on your success! Excellent win for this 5* Boston property! Hope you are looking forward to your stay. Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches. Enjoy your stay.

Fam of 5 Disney area this weekend?

It looks like something is going to have to 'give'... either star rating, 1 room instead of 2, budget, or zone. Searching for your dates for 1room/2adults/2children the least expensive 4 star or better hotel in the Disney Springs or Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek zone is: 4* HOTWIRE Disney Springs for $168.00 Free Internet Resort Pet Friendly Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Tennis Spa Childrens Activities Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is best guess for this one As you can see two rooms at this price would put you over budget... i did give a quick look and based upon the room description it doesn't look like the standard rooms here have a pullout sofabed (if you decided you were wanting to try and 'sneak' all 5 of you in under one room). Is going down to the 3.5 star level an option? Any zones other than Disney Springs and Bonnet Creek an option? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there.
