  2. Congratulations on your success! Glad you received the hotel you were hoping for and were able to take advantage of our Priceline Coupon... should make for a great pre-holiday getaway! Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your purchase. We're happy to have been able to help. Have a great trip and enjoy Chicago (please have a piece of deep dish for me!)
  3. It was the Royal Sonesta Chicago River North! I booked it using the link you provided and the %5Priceline discount coupon. We spent $10 per night and went with the deluxe city view room option for $123 per night. Total for 3 nights including tax, $476.79. Thanks again for all your help. Dean
  4. This is the one we believe is the Royal Sonesta Chicago River North: 4.5* Downtown - River North (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $113/nite with: Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center Pets Allowed Handicapped Rooms/Facilities No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
  5. Some ideas that i'm currently seeing: Swissotel $112/nite InterContinental Mag Mile $114/nite Club Quarters Central Loop $96/nite Kinzie Hotel $107/nite Central Loop Hotel $108/nite Chicago Marriott Downtown Mag Mile $112/nite Hyatt Regency $113/nite Royal Sonesta $113/nite The Godfrey Hotel Chicago $139/nite Hyatt Centric $146/nite Anything above jump off the page? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  6. Thank you for the offer. My wife and I are looking forward to the Christkindlemarket and enjoying the Christmas lights and decorations Chicago offers at this time of year. Our max budget is around $150 per night depending on the hotel. We’d prefer something in the $125 range. We like the river north, magnificent mile-water tower and millennium park areas. The theater district loop is fine too. I know, that pretty much covers it all. My wife is really interested in staying in hotel that is decked out for the Christmas season. Dean
  7. You're welcome, always happy to help! If you need additional help with this stay please continue this existing thread (as well as let us know whatever you decide to do for this trip, even if not PRICELINE / HOTWIRE) Is there a specific hotel that you're looking for and/or budget? We could have a closer look to help you find something that you're looking for, as well as give us an opportunity to try out some of the tools we have been working on behind the scenes and hoping to launch in the future.
  8. Hi, Thank you for the help. The Westin is nice but I think I’m going to continue to search over the next few days. If I need assistance with another hotel I’ll start a different thread. Thanks again!
  9. OK, the 'quick and easy' would be thru PRICELINE EXPRESS: 4* Downtown Long Beach (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $139/nite :: Indoor or Outdoor Pool Restaurant Fitness Center Pets Allowed Handicapped Rooms/Facilities No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Renaissance by Marriott Long Beach or 4* Downtown Long Beach (again, confirm your dates on the landing page) for $155/nite: Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Restaurant Fitness Center Pets Allowed Handicapped Rooms/Facilities No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Hyatt Centric The Pike Long Beach The HOTWIRE one we continue to reference (at $109) should be the Renaissance if you see the '2 Double Beds' offered as one of the bed types offered. The Hyatt Centric will cost (at least) $20+ more per nite, but i can try to kludge that one together if you're interested and willing to pay the extra over the Renaissance. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help.
  10. Ah very clever thanks. The Hyatt centric looks great and no particular bed configuration is required. Both seem fairly decent if it came down to it, for the price, thanks.
  11. From my research earlier, it came down to the Renaissance or the Hyatt Centric, which i believe both use this same amenity set. From the room choices of the $109/nite hotel (i am now seeing the $109/nite rate on HOTWIRE) one of the choices is '2 Double Beds' which is consistent with the Renaissance (asfaik the Hyatt Centric has '2 Queen Beds'). Beware of the one that only indicates 'Hotel Chooses Bed Type' as that is a toss-up as to which one this may be (or something entirely different... i haven't dug deeper on that one). As i've been researching your stay I am seeing the Hyatt Centric offered on some searches (typically with a King Bed or Studio Suite option, which is consistent with this property)... is there one of these that you're hoping to target (or avoid)? What hotel is it that you're hoping for this trip? Would either (or neither) the Renaissance or Hyatt Centric be acceptable? If you let us know what you're seeking we can try to play around a bit to find you the one you're hoping for (and supply a link or slightly different search parameter to have it appear for you). Do you need a specific room/bed configuration? Lastly, is PRICELINE EXPRESS an option as i see both of these properties offered there as well?
  12. Hi Goldfish! Best guess for this HOTWIRE offer would be the Renaissance Long Beach Hotel. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.

Thanks in advance
  14. Hi Dean, good to see you around the board. 16. Welcome to BetterBidding! I’ll try again later when on a desktop, but I’m not currently seeing this property when searching for your dates, are you searching for something other than the default 2adults/0children? Does the Hotwire Research tab of BiddingHelper.com ID this hotel?
  17. Is this one of the Universal Hotels? 4-star Hotel in Universal Orlando Resort area Dates: 11/12-11/14 Rate $169 Amenities - Free internet - Business center - Fitness center - Pool(s) - Restaurant(s) - Self-service laundry - Smoke-free rooms
  18. workaround---pick "casino" as one of the required amenities and it will eliminate the Trump Hotel from the Priceline "express deals" since they don't have a casino. It worked for me--the hotel that I was pretty positive was Trump's (almost identical price, rating, location, etc.) disappeared after my filter was set.
  19. The issue above has been fixed. A few searches may take a little longer than usual but for the few extra seconds we are able to ID more hotels as well as have increased confidence in our guess(es). Thank you once again for letting us know of the issue so that we could fix it.
  20. Congratulations on your win! You can always double-check your hotel guess with the hotel identified by the 'Hotwire Research' tab of our BiddingHelper.com tool! Thanks for sharing your win and enjoy your stay. PS- if possible, could you please add the date of your stay and the room rate per nite in a reply to this thread so we can add this information to the topic title; thanks!
  21. When checking this hotel, it gave an actual photo of a hotel room. I did a reverse google image search for it, and it showed Nuvo Hotel Suites as the hotel. These were the amenities. Free breakfast Free internet Boutique hotel Condo Pet friendly Self-service laundry Smoke-free rooms Suite
  22. Thank you for letting us know! I have replicated the issue and we will start to dig deeper as to the cause. I know you indicated there was no need to reply, but i wanted to let you and others know that we're working on it, i'll respond again once it's been fixed. Thanks again for making us aware of the problem.
  23. Just to let you know I tried to do a search of Paris hotels under the Reveal Hotels site. I screened for Nov. 9-12 this year. After a pause the site populates with a huge number of hotels. However, if you screen further by deselecting any of the stars, the number of hotels falls to 5. Similarly if you don't deselect any but instead click the price button at the top of the list to sort by price the number of hotels also falls to five. No need reply...I just wanted to let you know as I appreciate the site!
  24. This hotel, as well as most others, are most easily identified using the 'Priceline Research' tab of our BiddingHelper.com tool... 5 star The Strip - Central West for $383/nite (confirm your dates on the landing page) : Casino Indoor or Outdoor Pool Airport Shuttle Restaurant Fitness Center Pets Allowed Handicapped Rooms/Facilities ==> indicated that Bellagio is the best guess for this one Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
