  2. For this property... 4 star Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $152/night: Indoor or Outdoor Pool Restaurant Fitness Center Handicapped Rooms/Facilities No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ... although i'm not 100% certain, my guess here would be the Wyndham Bonnet Creek or the Hilton Bonnet Creek (of these i'd slightly favor the Hilton as the more likely of the two). HOWEVER, if you're interested in either of these i think there are better ways to book them. Are either of these of interest at this price OR are you looking for something on-site (or some other requirement) for this trip? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.

This property (and most others) is easily identified with our BiddingHelper.com tool: 3.5* HOTWIRE Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek Free breakfast Free parking Free internet Pet friendly Smoke-free rooms Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center ... best guess for this one would be the Towneplace Suites Orlando at Flamingo Crossing / W Entrance Does this work for your needs? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. 7. Congratulations on your success! Nice to see you got a great rate and are happy with the results. 8. I had a few days from work, so I decided to make an impromptu trip to Colorado (I live in Wyoming). I am spending one night in Black Hawk, while the first night will be spent in Broomfield. I was able to get to a nice rate for the hotel listed below. 2.5* Comfort Suites Broomfield base rate: $130.00 tax/fees: $28.37 total: $158.37 This look like a nice hotel at a great price, as the Choice Hotels website wants over $180 + taxes and fees.
  9. Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you received the hotel you were hoping for and that this will work well for your plans... we're happy to have been able to help. Thank you for sharing your win with the board and for using the board HOTWIRE link for your searches/purchase. Have a great trip.
  10. We went with the Atwood! $100 a night for a king bed. Thanks for your help! It is always appreciated.
  11. Glad to see the posting issue has been resolved. I'm not seeing the Cosmopolitan or Dana offered for your dates thru either 'opaque' service. If the Hilton Garden Inn you're referring to is the Hilton Garden Inn San Diego Old Town/Sea World Area in Old Town, i'm not seeing this one either thru the 'hidden hotel' side of their service, but PRICELINE does have it on the regular retail side of their service for $174 per night (confirm your dates on the landing page) and our Priceline Coupon for 5% off should work on this property as well, but not sure if this would be worth an extra ~$60/nite to you or not (vs the Altwood or Holiday Inn Express Beach) Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help.
  12. I looked at all these properties and the Uber/taxi cost from SAN and to/from Sea World and Mission Beach. Boy... Uber and hotels are making up for lost time in 2020. Anyway here are my thoughts.. The Atwood actually looks cool. If it was closer to the beach it would be perfect. I believe I just found it at 94 a night on Hotwire. That is great. I found Holiday Inn Express - Beach area at 115 Holiday Inn Express Old Towne is not out of the running I am leaning towards the Atwood or HIE-Beach but I am wondering if you have seen these properties pop up: Cosmopolitan Hotel, Hilton Garden Inn, and the Dana. Thank you!!
  13. Thank you. I am going to look into these properties and then get back to you. Map them and such. I sent two tests that worked just fine. The second test even brought up my message that I originally tried to send and sent it fine. Thanks!!!! :)
  14. We're happy to try to help! Thank you for providing the information above, i think i have a good handle on what you're seeking for this trip, and good that you're a bit flexible. Some ideas from my initial search, and we can fine tune based upon your feedback should nothing above excite you at the onset: Holiay Inn Express San Diego SeaWorld Beach Area for $108/nite SeaWorld - Mission Bay --> while i typically don't get too excited about a Holiday Inn Express, i included this one since the location seems to work well for your needs, it includes breakfast, and is within budget. The last 2-3 reviews i read were not that favorable, but prior to that the reviews were very good. I'm guessing the hotel may be limited staff during slow covid times and therefore has fallen short in some aspects (which should be improving now) and even the negative reviews indicated that the rooms were fine (it more so limited service) The Atwood for $102/nite Mission Valley - Hotel Circle - Balboa Park --> note it's a Motel but i mention just because the price is low and gets good reviews for cleanliness, but for you to decide if this is something for you or not Handelry Hotel for $107/nite Mission Valley - Hotel Circle - Balboa Park --> i don't know much about this property but i know it's been around for a long time. A bit higher star rated than the Holiday Inn Express above, although 'cleanliness' is a bit lower rated but still pretty good (at 3.9/5.0) Legacy Resort Hotel and Spa for $164/nite Mission Valley - Hotel Circle - Balboa Park --> a bit higher priced than the others, but also seems to be a big jump in star rating, reviews, quality, etc Also seeing: Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites San Diego Airport - Old Town for $152/nite --> might be good location for you, reviews look good Best Western Hacienda Suites-Old Town for $166/nite (can take 5% off with our Priceline Coupon) --> starting to push the budget but reviews are very good Any of the above of interest (or your favorite one but what 'more' you would want from a hotel)? Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. PS- if you could try again posting in the California section of the board (even just something that says 'test'), if you're successful i'll delete the test post, if not successful please send me a PM with the steps you took in trying to post (which links/forum or anything else that would allow us to try to replicate) so we can test on our end. Thanks!
  15. Hello again! Please let me know if I submitted this in the wrong area. The site locked up on me when I tried to post under California I am once again looking for a fabulous hotel while on a budget. I am going to San Diego on August 18 - 21. I have stayed so many places, in San Diego, except for Mission Beach. I have been searching your sites (and using your links) for both Hotwire and Priceline. I think I am at the point where your knowledge will help me best. So... Mission beach area is great but way expensive. I can stay in the immediate area and take an Uber to Sea World and the boardwalk but I would like to be as close as possible. And... not too far from the airport. I know there is hotel circle and that may be ok but something more fab may also be lovely. If it was a perfect world I would pay $100-125 a night but that is probably way too low. Maybe 150 is a possibility? If it was 150 then a walk to the beach would kick it! Star levels are important but cleanliness and location are more important than amenities. Thanks in advance! :)
  16. You're welcome... and congratulations on getting the hotel you had hoped for! Have a great trip and a Happy Anniversary
  17. Awesome! That worked, and it was the hotel I thought it was. Thanks for the help!
  18. Case in point! I posted the coupon codes as they were sent to us and you're correct, they were not working. However, through some trial and error i have figured out their mistake and have updated our Hotwire Coupon page accordingly (they left one letter out of each of the codes). Thank you for letting us know of the issue and i'm assuming it is now resolved, please let us know if you have any further issues that we may be able to assist with.
  19. Is it just me or are the hotwire codes not working? Tried all of them, they all report back as invalid.
  20. Thanks! $30 is better than nothing. I've got a week trip to Honolulu for our 10th anniversary. I've found a deal on hotwire that looks to be the Hyatt Regency for $154 a night, and it looks to have solid reviews. I did not look like the same deal was available on Priceline. Trying to stay under $200 a night. I need it for 7 nights, so any coupon will help. Was hoping for a % based one so it would take off more on a week stay, but I'll settle for whatever I can get.
  21. We have gotten new / updated coupons. See our Hotwire Coupon page for the current deals.
  22. Welcome to BetterBidding! We almost always have a Hotwire Coupon and are usually given exclusive deals for when their is nothing offered system-wide. Unfortunately there have been some internal changes at HOTWIRE so things are not happening seemlessly as they have in the past. I actually reached out to them yesterday for a new coupon but have not heard back from them yet (admittedly it was late in the day yesterday so not unusual to not have heard back yet first thing in the morning). So the short answer is that we hope to have a new coupon in the very near future... but can't be certain or make any guarantees. To be honest, they usually promote heavily during holidays, so i'm very surprised they didn't have anything for the July 4th Holiday (well, they did have a holiday coupon but it expired before the actually holiday)... could have something to do with the changes taking place over there. What are the details of your trip and which hotel is it that you're hoping to receive? Have you looked to see if the same offer is available thru PRICELINE EXPRESS? Obviously the risk in waiting is if the current hotel offer disappears entirely before we are able to get a new coupon; are there other offers available that would be acceptable should this current offer disappear before you're able to make your purchase? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  23. How often do coupons come about? I noticed there are none for hotwire at the moment, and that the previous ones all expired within the last week. Wasn't sure how often new coupons come up and if I should just wait a few days before booking my Hawaii hotel and maybe new coupons will be available. If anyone has any insight into that based on historicals let me know.
  24. Typically they should be for unlimited use. The ones that have our name in the coupon ('BB', 'BBid', etc. in them can be used multiple times), others may have their own terms, but i don't see anything for the current FREEDOM20 that indicates it's only one-time use. An exception would be if a coupon is indicated for 'New Customers' only. The definition of a 'new customer' could change at any time, but as far as i know it's based upon email address, so two friends/spouses traveling together who are each new to the Priceline or Hotwire system could theoretically split the trip into two purchases and each use a new customer coupon. Also, keep in mind that any of our PRICELINE coupons which are indicated good for any 'pre-paid hotel' only means that it can't be a "pay when you stay" property (of which there are very few). Some people, myself included at first, thought this meant it was only good for non-refundable rates, but it can be used on refundable rates too! In short, if you're paying PRICELINE on the checkout page, and there is a promo box to enter a coupon, then it should be able to be used.
