  2. You can keep all posts for this same stay in this thread. This way when making suggestions we can easily see what has already been considered, as well as use the topic title of the thread to reflect what was ultimately decided for this stay. For this offer: 4.5* HOTWIRE Magnificent Mile - Water Tower for $110 ($104 with code: HWRELAX25) Pet friendly Near beach Smoke-free rooms Fitness center Restaurant(s) Business center Internet access Golf nearby Spa services ==> The Westin Michigan Ave is our best guess for this one Please remember to ret

  7. Thanks! I actually used your Reveal Hotels tab and found the Boston Commonwealth. I got that at $82 a night! Thanks for your help! but...just an fyi... your coupon code is not valid

  11. The rates we post are the room rates so we don't need to 'drill down' and click thru on every listing. As well, if you're looking at the Godfrey (or any other hotel that charges resort fees) they're going to be the same regardless of how you book. I don't see the Hotel Revere listed for your dates. If the Boston Doubletree Bayside is convenient for your plans and you can get a $79/nite rate i would take that, as i'm seeing a $159/nite regular rate for your dates or a $107/nite rate thru HOTWIRE (not seeing it at all on PRICELINE) Thanks for using the PRICE
  12. This is the Godfrey offer i was referring to on HOTWIRE: 4* HOTWIRE Boston Common - Theatre District - South End for $89 Pet friendly Boutique hotel Near beach Oceanfront hotel Smoke-free rooms Fitness center Restaurant(s) Business center Self-service laundry ==> The Godfrey Hotel Boston is our best guess for this one The price shows as $94/nite but with our current $10 off Hotwire Coupon: BB10HW the price drops to $89/nite ($305 all-in including the hotel's resort fee). There is also a Bed Choice so for an extra $5-$10/nite you could choose a co
  13. Also.... I have used your sites and links trying to find Avid Hotel Revere. I can't find it. Do you know if it is a possibility on Priceline or Hotwire? Thanks Mate!
  14. Does that include the nasty resort fees that The Godfrey charges? I was hoping to save money the first two nights because I think the cape or beaches may be expensive - during the middle part of our trip. I don't mind taking the T into downtown the next day and one of my fav restaurants is in Saugus which is a quick Uber from BOS Logan properties. The extra $23 difference on the rate plus $25 in "urban" fee makes it higher than I was hoping for a night.
  15. Got it... Although i understand you're arriving late, my suggestion would be head Downtown anyway... it's fairly close to the airport and this way once you wake up the following morning you'll be right where you want to be to start enjoying the city (walk to a cafe, grab breakfast, etc). You could also use this leg of your trip to stay/see one part of the city... then stay in a different part of the city at the end of your trip (although Boston isn't really that big) If you like this idea The Godfrey, which you mentioned as liking in your other post, can be had for $10
  16. Wow! Great rates. The Hotel Commonwealth is a great location because I hope to see a game. The Bostonion is also great. Godfrey was one of my top choices but I am getting a much higher rate... two nights with urban fees - 442. Thanks for your help!
  17. Thanks for the reply! We land just past midnight on the 26th. So, I figure we have to reserve the 25th. I would also like to stay one additional night in Boston, so we would stay the 26th too. Depart on the 27th. We are going to another location for a few days - I am not sure where as of now. Maybe the cape. Then we will be back in Boston for the 30th to the 2nd. I hope that answers your questions. Thanks!
  18. How about: Hotel Commonwealth $82 The Bostonian Boston $87 The Godfrey $89 Club Quarters Boston $101 Hotel Indigo Boston Garden $102 Kimpton Nine Zero $139 ... any of these of interest? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  19. To clarify, this is for one nite (June 25) or are you staying two nites and need both the nites of 6/25 and 6/26? That seems like a good rate for the Boston Doubletree Bayside, but i do see some options that would seem to be closer, nice, and about the same amount of costs, but as i see your next Boston hotel stay doesn't start for a few days later on 6/30, i think it's important to also take into consideration where you are heading when leaving this hotel... do you board a cruise, stay at a friend's house, already have another hotel booked, etc, etc? Please confirm your ch
  20. Hello again my friends, I am wanting to stay in Boston on June 30 to July 2nd. I would like a nice property that is around $100. I have found a few places around 150 but the hotel capacity seems low so I am wondering if I could do better. I am looking downtown, seaport, Fenway, anyplace but the outskirts. Any suggestions? So far, I found Seaport Hotel, CitizenM, the Godfrey, and The Revere. Godfrey looks great and they are at 150. I would still like to get similar at 100-125 if possible. Thanks! Casper
  21. Hello, I am looking at staying in Boston on June 25 and 26. I am flying in late so I would like a hotel with an airport shuttle or close so Uber is close. My arrival time is 0020. Currently I have the Boston Doubletree Bayside at $79 a night. Do you know of anything less or nicer? Thanks!

  27. Welcome to BetterBidding! All hotels have different policies as far as how much of a deposit or 'hold' they will place on your credit card. Generally speaking, the more upscale a hotel the higher will be the deposit (although $20 would seem extremely low even for a budget property). I'm not aware of of any hotel that requires a higher deposit/hold for 3rd party bookings... do you have a specific hotel that you're referring to where you experienced this? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel
  28. Why do some hotels charge guests who book directly through the hotel $20 incidental hold and $100 if you book thru Priceline ?
  29. You're welcome, let us know if anything else comes up that we can help with. While you're waiting, you may want to consider booking a RefundableRate to protect yourself from rates moving higher from here. Good luck, and keep us updated on your progress.
