Want a 5 star hotel for August

Welcome to BetterBidding! Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Once you win a hotel, use the 'ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN' button on the upper right corner of the page to edit the topic title to reflect your win and to provide the details of your purchase. This helps keep the board better organized by reducing the number of unresolved threads that don't have any follow-up or conclusion. For helping researching the 5 star hotel you're referring to please confirm the zone this hotel is located in (there are two 'Central Strip' properties... an east and a west) as well the amenities that are associated with this property when using the EASY VEIW tab of our BiddingHelper.com tool. Also, how many rooms/adults/children do you need accommodations for? Are you including this number in your search? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  4. Congratulations on your success! Glad to hear it was the hotel you were hoping for and the offered room configuration works well for your needs. Thank you for sharing your win with the board and helping us confirm this new amenity set for this property in the Las Vegas Hotwire Hotel List. Please click the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Enjoy your stay.

Want a 5 star hotel for August

It said central strip, all suites hotel, grand canal shoppes. It was from 8/18 thru 8/24 for $100/night. Resort fee for stay was $306 Any ideas?
  6. We need a 5 star hotel for 8/17 thru 8/24. I am hoping it is a slow time. Should I start looking or wait since it's far away??? We would like a hotel with stuff for teenagers to do and close to everything. Any help would be appreciated.
  7. The Sofitel is - in my opinion - the nicer of the two properties and the difference between the two in terms of location is minimal. I'm very familiar with Chicago - please let me know if you have any hotel or city questions. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  8. Thank you so much! I booked on HOTWIRE and it turns out it's indeed Venetian. Was looking for a 2 queue beds room so the Wynn on PRICELINE doesn't work for me.
  9. I will also add this property from PRICELINE EXPRESS: 5* The Strip - Northeast (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $104/nite with: Pets Allowed Free Parking Restaurant Free Breakfast Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center ==> Wynn Las Vegas is my best guess here and would look to be an excellent value for this 5 star property Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help.
  10. Welcome to Betterbidding. I think there may be more amenities than you have included above. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper tool and look in the EASY VIEW TAB then click the green "Full Amenities" button, do you see additional amenities beyond those listed above? I'm seeing: 5* HOTWIRE Center Strip - Grand Canal Shoppes for $164.00 Free Parking Resort Suite Pet Friendly Casino Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Best guess would be the Venetian Would this possibility be of interest? Let us know what you decide or if we can be of any further assistance. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  11. Can anyone help identify the following hotel from Hotwire? Thanks! 5-star All-suites Hotel in Center Strip - Grand Canal Shoppes area 1 king bed suite $164 per night 2 queen beds $190 per night Complimentary Free parking Amenities CasinoFitness centerPet friendlyPool(s)ResortRestaurant(s)Smoke-free roomsSuite

  13. Please start by following-up your previous Chicago Hotwire hotel thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans. For your trip above, how about: 4.5* Magnificent Mile -Gold Coast (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $96/nite with: Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Fitness Center ==> The Westin Michigan Avenue Chicago is my best guess for this one 4.5* Downtown - River North (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $79/nite with: Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Fitness Center ==> best guess here would be the Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile (NOTE: this can also be booked HERE for just $84/nite without any guesswork and knowing exactly what you will receive) Either of these work for your plans this trip? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the links here to begin your purchase. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help.
  14. Would prefer 4.5* in Mag mile or River North in Downtown Chicago. 3/15/19-3/17/19. Like price to be around $100-$120.
  15. Congrats on your success. Really nice deal for this airport Crowne Plaza property! Glad you're pleased with the result. Thank you for sharing your win with the board and helping us update the Newark Priceline Hotel List with this new PRICELINE EXPRESS listing. Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches. Enjoy your stay.
  16. Needed a hotel near the airport because of an early flight. Amenities listed : Free Internet (in Room) Indoor Pool Non-Smoking Gym Restaurant Handicap Accessible Business Center The hotel seems nice and the price is good so I'm happy.
  17. Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you received a great deal and received the hotel you wanted all along. As far as renting a car, i assume you are flying out of LAS (and not planning on renting a car again to get to a different location/airport)? Using the CARS radio button on our BiddingHelper.com tool it looks like a rental is going to cost about $225-$250 all-in (likely due to a one-way rental). Did you plan on sightseeing/stopping along the way, as and it appears that you can fly from San Diego to Las Vegas for about $60-$70/pp (or as los as $46 if you're willing to fly Spirit, but be prepared for extra fees with this fare if you have more than a personal item to bring aboard, which i assume you do). Flying would not only be less expensive, but it would provide you more vacation time as well as maybe an extra day trip from San Diego (if you leave closer to 2/20) or an extra day trip from Las Vegas (if you arrive closer to 2/18) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  18. Ok you guys seriously are THE BEST! Park MGM is the hotel I was actually hoping for! I'd been pricing it out for a few weeks! With my MLife account the lowest price I could find was $640 with taxes and resort fees for those 3 nights! I took your guidance, and fur the low low price of $452 we are staying at our hotel of choice!!! Thank YOU!!! So, now I'm curious, and advice/suggestions for renting a car? We want to pick it up in San Diego on February 18 and then drive it to LV on the 20th returning it on the 20th. Thoughts?
  19. Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you received a great deal thru PRICELINE's Name Your Own Price and you're happy with the hotel received. If you ever have trouble finding the Name Your Own Price bidding page (as priceline continues to move/hide it) we have set up the following page for easy access: BiddingForHotelRooms.com Have a great trip and enjoy your stay at this 5 star property.
  20. Very happy with this win, which is around 26% below the best online price. Started bidding at $115 and worked up from there.
  21. Congrats on your success! Excellent deal for this 5* property! Glad you are happy with the win. Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches. Enjoy your stay.
  22. Many thanks. Using your HOTWIRE link, I went forward with the $215, and it was the Royal Hawaiian. I appreciate your help.

  24. Congratulations on your success... glad to see you received the hotel guessed and that you enjoyed your stay. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your results/decisions as you receive them so that the information can best help others in a timely manner. Please click the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
  25. ended up with Disney Yacht club, PRICELINE EXPRESS , 8/11-8/13/17 for $176 per night. Very happy with our stay!
  26. Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you're happy with the outcome and looking forward to your stay at this 5 star, and well reviewed, hotel. Thank you for sharing your win with the board. Please click the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Have a great stay.
  27. We're always here and happy to help! You ddin't mention the zone of the property above, but i assume it's this offer (you'll see the full amenity set when clicking the FULL AMENITIES button in the EASY VIEW tab of our BiddingHelper.com tool): 4* HOTWIRE Center Strip - T- Mobile Arena for $89.00 Resort Pet Friendly Casino Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> if this is the one you're seeing, i would put my guess with the Park MGM Las Vegas for this one (which is also consistent with the guess from the green button 'WHAT HOTEL IS THIS?' feature in the biddinghelper's easy view tab) Does this fit well with your Vegas plans? If not, let us know more about what you're looking for and your maximum budget (per nite before fees/taxes) NOTE that you're coming to Vegas over very busy dates... there is one 60K person conference taking place 2/19-2/21 as well as an additional 33K person conference over the same dates. Vegas can handle this, but is likely the reason for what may be rates higher than what you expected. It's somewhat rare to see, but explainable by the conference(s) above, that your weekend nite is actually less expensive than your mid-week nites. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help.
