  2. Welcome to BetterBidding and congratulations on your success... an excellent deal for these dates and quad occupancy! Hope you're happy with the outcome and this property will work well for your plans this trip. For the future, don't try to use the distance to landmarks as a guide in trying to determine the underlying hotel as that information is relative to a centerpoint of the zone, not necessarily the distance to the specific hotel currently being offered. If you are hoping for a room with 2 Queen beds call the hotel and ask if this is what you can be assigned to. Note that at this property these rooms cost more than rooms with only 1 Queen bed, so If they say no, or that your room will be assigned at check-in, you can mention that you see the 2 Queen rooms sell for about $20/nite more than the one queen bedded rooms and ask if you can pay the extra $20/nite to upgrade (assuming it's worth the extra $20 per nite to you... or you can just hope that your request will be honored at check-in) Thank you for using the HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchase and sharing your win, helping us update the Boston Hotwire Hotel List with the new amenity set for this property. Enjoy your stay.
  3. Listed as 95% Recommended Amenities (given before official booking) Complimentary Free breakfast | Free Internet | Free parking Business center | Fitness center | Restaurant(s) | Self-service laundry I was also given 4 hotels and told that the mystery hotel would be 1 of the 4. Hotels: A bed & Breakfast in Cambridge Porter Square Hotel Homewood Suites Cambridge Irving House at Harvard I was also given a list of attractions and how close the hotel was to them. One was Harvard Square and it expressed that the hotel was 2.1 miles away. I used Google Maps and compared the walking distances of each from Harvard Square and found that Homewood was the closest by a landslide. I did the same with each of the other attractions and it was the same case. I called Hotwire and they then said that the hotel chose this room for me. I'm a bit confused. Who chose the room? I was trying to see if I could have 2 queen beds instead of 1 queen bed (all rooms come with the sofa bed). Wish me luck! Thanks for helping, BetterBidding!!!!!
  4. Welcome to BetterBidding! For this PRICELINE EXPRESS offer: 3.5* Brentwood - Westwood (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $152/nite with: Fitness Center Restaurant No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool ==> i'd speculate that this is the Hotel Angeleno... i think the room type may be an error as 2 King beds in a hotel room would be a rarity and if it did exist, would not likely cost the same as the 1 Double listed below it What are your needs for this trip? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
  5. Yesterday
  6. Rate $152 a night Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Swimming Pool Non Smoking Areas Fitness Center Restaurant Gives me a choice of beds, including one choice with 2 king beds, so it doesn't seem to be Los Angeleno. Thoughts?
  7. I assume then that you would extend the check-out, making your trip 9/14-9/19? If so the best deal by far, imo, would be: 5* HOTWIRE World Trade Center - Wall Street for $188.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Boutique Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Childrens Activities Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ==> this matches previous reports for the Conrad New York which is currently the #26 rated hotels in NYC. This hotel used to be an Embassy Suites (a long time ago, it is now up to the 5 standards of the Conrad brand) so the rooms are oversized given it was built as an Embassy Suites in mind. As well, you can search HOTWIRE for 2adults/1child so you are guaranteed accommodations for your whole family (again, shouldn't be an issue given the rooms were built as suites). Another perk is, as briefly mentioned in my previous post, there is a large park right next to the hotel (and along the Hudson River) and i'm sure things for your daughter to explore. The downside is that it is not the most centrally located being about a 15 minute subway ride to midtown... but the price (not much else is in this price range no matter what the star rating or location), the 5* rating, and it being one of the top rated hotels in NYC is worth the trade-off of the downtown location, imo. Using our BiddingHelper.com tool and looking in both the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW and PRICELINE EXPRESS tabs i filters to hotels that were 3* and higher and sorted by price... this 5 star property is the least expensive that is located inside of Manhattan and rated 3 stars or better. Your thoughts? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. If you take the one above let us know how it goes or let us know how you'd like to proceed and we will take the next step.
  8. Hello, thank you very much for your quick answer. I will start from your first issue you mentioned: - Pricline bidding: It would not be a problem for us to sleep in one bed with our little girl as long as they do accept a child without any problem. About the options: 1= Probably I would increase the budget a little but not too much. 2= which area do you think about and which hotel?. I would be ok if we do not spend too much time with driving around than enjoying the city. 3= Our plane would arrive at 5 pm. Depart is no problem as we are planing to travel by car to philadelphia. 4= I just checked the flights and I could also take the flight on the 14th if this would help me to get a good hotel. I just waited to book the flight because of the prices for the hotels but I need to decide as the tickets are getting more expensive. It should just be 5 nights. Let me know about your thoughts and what do you recommend :). Sorry for my english, I hope you understand what I mean Thank you very much.

Disney hotel? Swan Aug 31-Sept 3

Sorry, it was Priceline. I guess my site navigation is bad:( It's for 2 adults and 2 children. I was concerned because it was twin beds at that rate. Are there any other Disney owned properties available? Thanks again!

Welcome to Betterbidding. 😀 Just to confirm, is this a HOTWIRE listing? If so, are you searching for more than 2 adults? 15. Looking for a Disney Owned Property or the Swan for Aug 31 to Sept 3. Possibly a last minute trip as we are only 5 hrs away:) ....if I can find a good rate! I see this: 4.5-Star Hotel Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek Area With prices this low, most hotels won't let us show their identity until after you book This deal saves you 44% or more compared to similar hotels $128 /night I think it might be the Swan, but the $128 price is for a twin bed. Does that sound right or is it a different hotel? Also, are there any other Bonnett Creek Disney Owned Properties for those days that I am missing. Great site, thanks for all the help and tips! Thanks, Kara

    Hotwire Hotels

Travel Date: 8/31-9/3/2018 I have been monitoring the Hotwire hot rate for this hotel and seeing $140 or $144 or $149 as latest and lowest rate lately. Based on the descriptions, what hotel it might be? thanks
  26. Thanks Better Bidding - La Quinta Inn and Suites Manchester was correct. Booked 3* HOTWIRE Manchester Central for $76.00 See you next time!
  27. I received this hotel for $70, taxes/fees $15.29 total: $85.29 I have won this hotel before in Tallahassee, Its a nice hotel in a convenient location to FSU. I need one more night, but after trying to add a night, was declined and offered $215 per night for the same hotel. Tallahassee is a finicky place to get a room depending on demand. I have seen this same hotel for $400 plus per night, I guess its nice to have a predictable increase in demand when students are returning.... The hotels certainly know how to capitalize on us parents!!
