  3. tried to Name My Own Price for this zone up to $50, but this was a better deal. Used the PRICELINE link to start bidding. Amenities: Nonsmoking, Business Center, Fitness Center
  4. It's one of my favorite Vegas properties, but so we can get a better idea of your likes/dislikes, can you let us know what it is about the Palazzo that you don't like? I'm very familiar with Las Vegas so knowing more about what you like can help us better find options that meet your needs.
  5. Thanks for the insight.. I might hold out for a bit/have a look on Hotwire instead if the Delano is a bit out of the way (I’m not all that keen on the Palazzo).
  6. Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you scored a great deal at this property and at a price lower than you had thought would be possible. Thank you for sharing your win with the board. Please click the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Enjoy your stay.
  7. Personally, I wouldn't necessarily split a 3 nite stay between different ends of the strip... i would only start to consider that for a 4 nite trip (although switching hotels that are walkable and very close to each other would be OK). Not sure if you have been to Vegas before, but the Delano is near the very southern end of the strip and not easily walkable to other 'destination' hotels. My suggestion would be this PRICELINE EXPRESS which admittedly does start to push your budget a bit: 5* The Strip - Northeast (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $169/nite with: Free Parking Fitness Center Casino Restaurant No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Indoor or Outdoor Pool ==> Palazzo is my best guess here which is a beautiful property, better location than Delano as it is nearby the hotels i most like to visit (Venetian, Wynn, Mirage, Caesars, etc)... very small chance of the Wynn but i like that property too If you did want to book the Delano i believe it is this property offered thru PRICELINE EXPRESS: 5* The Strip - Southwest (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $84/nite with: Pets Allowed Fitness Center Restaurant No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
  8. Wasn't expecting to get a yes on my first attempt (tells me I could have gone lower!) but I'm pleased. This is the hotel we always try to stay at when in town. Lowest 3.5 for area on HOTWIRE was $119.
  9. After securing such a good hotel for our NYC trip I am now looking for something special for our few days in Vegas. It's my partners birthday so I'm looking for something really special. I'd originally reserved a fancy suite at the Delano for the first 2 nights ($200 per night) but now I'm in search of a better deal. I was thinking maybe go for 2 nights one end of the strip and our last night the other? Really open to suggestions though. I've researched all of the top hotels and just can't seem to pick a favourite... I'm looking to stay around that $200 mark (inc resort fee) but budget is flexible if it's something amazing. Any recommendations? Thanks!

  12. Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you received the hotel you were hoping for and are pleased with the deal you received. Thank you for sharing your win with the board and helping us confirm and add this property to the Priceline Express Hotel List. One suggestion for breakfast a short walk from your hotel: Best Bagel and Coffee 225 W 35th St (in 35th St between Seventh and Eighth Avenues on the north side of the street) ==> it can be crowded but the lines moves fairly fast. Order on the line on the right side and then take your ticket to the register to pay. If you can't get one of the few tables or counter seats walk back towards your hotel but stop in front of Macy's (the Sixth Avenue side) where you can try to get a table out front where you can sit and eat your breakfast while taking in the sights/sounds of NYC (another suggestion is to walk to Times Square and sit on the bleachers behind the TKTS Booth as you dine al fresco with a view you can't get anywhere else in the world) Please click the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Enjoy your stay.
  13. PRICELINE directly was offering it for $55. PRICELINE EXPRESS said there was bed choice when you clicked on it - but then there wasn't any offered on completing the booking. Pets Allowed Free Parking Free Internet Free Breakfast
  14. Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you're familiar with this property and looking forward to your return. Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your purchase. Enjoy your stay.

  18. Used the Priceline Express Coupon link from here -- thanks for the coupon! Happy with the win; I've stayed here before and like the property. Total price for the stay = CAD434 - $17 coupon = CAD417 Amenities as listed in the PE search: Free Internet Business Center Fitness Center Non Smoking Pets Allowed Restaurant Swimming Pool
  19. Our plans changed, so we ended up not booking. Just wanted to close out the thread. Thanks, as usual, for the help!

  21. There's no guarantee, but rates can often head higher and do so suddenly. There's no way to know how traffic will be for this period, but at least traditionally, the Fall in NYC is a busy/expensive time. Rates may come down, but there's a risk that they go the other way, plus the risk of inventory on these listings running out of inventory and being replaced by something less appealing. The Life Hotel NoMad is a newer property, which opened around Spring of 2017. Definitely use the 5% promotion in my signature, which takes about $34 off the total of the potential Life hotel. Let us know what you decide or if we can be of any further assistance. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  22. Both of those look like really good options and within our budget.. YAY! Is there one you would recommend over the other? Also, best to book now or hold off and see what else comes up, only concern with this is that I know our dates are going to be pricey. Any other areas to consider? Thanks so much for the help 🙂
  23. Welcome to BetterBidding! For this PRICELINE EXPRESS offer: 4* Empire State Building Area (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $185/nite with: Fitness Center Business Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Avalon Hotel I'm also seeing this 4* in the same zone for a few dollars less: 4* Empire State Building Area (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $173/nite with: Fitness Center Business Center Restaurant No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> LIFE Hotel, NoMad is my best guess here Do either of these work for your needs this trip? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. 24. Hi all New to bidding and trying to find a bargain for our break to NYC in Sept! We've booked flights already so our dates are set (20th-24th). I'd love a 4* but would settle for less as we are on a budget of around $220 a night including taxes and charges. Location wise, we're really flexible so anywhere that is central and close to the subway.. was thinking midtown/hells kitchen may be a bit cheaper? I have found this one on priceline express.. any ideas? 4-Star Hotel Empire State Building Area Amenities Business Center Fitness Center Non Smoking Areas $190 per night Thanks in advance :)
