  2. Help ID Hotels in Oslo

Oh, sorry for the late reply. I was too busy prior to the trip, preparing the materials for the workshop. My institution ended up booking the hotels for me, one of the travel agents that they used was able to get 6 nights of hotels at a somewhat lower rate. But as usual, thanks a lot for all your helps.
  3. I would basically stay at any moderate or deluxe Disney hotel if I get a good price. I just don't know how to set the Hotwire/Priceline parameters to find them. And I don't know if I am too far out. I am a bit lost ;)
  4. Did this end up being the Omni Parker House?
  5. Does not include the $28 hotel fee or taxes, so the rate is really $130 per night. 6. Tried bidding at $25 but failed. Was on the road with little time so moved over to Express Deals, Ended up just booking with the regular priceline offer was slightly less than booking with Express Deals. Offer Price:$31.64/night Number of rooms:1 Room Number of nights:1 Night Room Subtotal:$31.64 Taxes & Fees:$9.13 Total Charged:$40.77 I've stayed at this property a number of times, and always bid to obtain the best deal. 9. Congrats on your success. Hope you are pleased with the win and are looking forward to your stay. Thank you for sharing your win with the board and helping us update the Priceline Hotel List with the change in amenity set for this PRICELINE EXPRESS listing. Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches. Enjoy your stay.
  10. Thank you for closing the thread. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  11. Offer Price: $99.00/night Number of rooms: 1 Room Number of nights: 2 Nights Room Subtotal: $198.00 Taxes & Fees: $44.52 Total Charged: $242.52 This was about $25 cheaper than the next category up (3.5 stars) for those dates. It's possible this location could have gone for less, but probably not a whole lot less.
  12. The trip is canceled. Thanks again for your help.
  13. 2.5-Star Hotel Niagara Falls - Clifton Hills Area amenities Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Non Smoking Areas
  14. Kept going up in increments, accepted at $80USD. Thanks for the help
  15. I've decided that I'm willing to pay to stay in the Mayfair/Soho area. Three options: PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals Hotwire (never booked through them) PL name your price. I've done this quite often but haven't done it internationally. I would only bid for 5 star using my free bid areas. The lowest price on PL is $314 for a 5 star. I thought about starting at $220 and working up from there. Out of the three options, which do you recommend? My highest is $275 per night. TIA!
  16. I'm seeing on PRICELINE EXPRESS (please confirm the correct date of travel is showing on the detail page after clicking the link below.) 4* Montreal Trudeau Airport Area (YUL) (<<<--- CLICK HERE to go direct to the listing) for $82 Pets Allowed Fitness Center Airport Shuttle Restaurant No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool >>>Best guess would be the Sheraton. So if you bid $72 for a 4* in this area and that was rejected and there's a 4* for $82 on PRICELINE EXPRESS, you're likely not far from a win - perhaps in the $74-78 range. There is always the risk though of the $82 running out of inventory. Let us know what you decide or if we can be of any further assistance. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  17. I am trying to get a hotel near the airport for around $70USD if possible. I bid $67 and $72 and was rejected. Any assistance with bidding?
  18. Congrats on your success. Excellent win for this property which just opened recently (https://www.cntraveler.com/story/inside-the-new-line-austin-hotel). Hope you are looking forward to your stay. Thank you for sharing your win with the board and helping us update the Hotwire Hotel List with this new HOTWIRE listing. Please use the site's PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches. Enjoy your stay.
  19. NYC (Columbia University)

Please start by fixing your email address associated with the board by clicking your name on the top right corner of the board and then choosing ACCOUNT SETTINGS (you'll then start to receive the requested notifications when replies are made to this thread and the emails won't be bouncing back to us) So you don't really need to stay next to Columbia University... what i think you really need is easy access to Columbia University? Your least expensive option would be: 4* HOTWIRE Madison Square Garden for $134.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ==> best guess here would be The New Yorker A Wyndham Hotel. The property gets mixed reviews but would be convenient since it's across the street from Penn Station where you can catch the 1 train to Columbia Another option: 4* Times Square - Theatre District (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $164/nite with: Fitness Center ==> The Manhattan at Times Square is my best guess here, with the 1 train being less than 2 blocks away You didn't mention budget so if you are willing to go a little higher than those above you can get into some really nice hotels which i'd recommend either of the following: 4* HOTWIRE Madison Square Garden for $185.00 (doesn't list any resort fee so really not that much more than either of the above... may actually be cheaper than the Manhattan at Times Square on an all-in basis) Free Internet Pet Friendly Boutique Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet ==> EVEN Hotel Times Square South is the best guess here... about a 4-5 block to the 1 train subway station (about 2-3 blocks can be done entirely underground if it happens to be raining) and the hotel gets incredible reviews with it currently rated the #14 best reviewed hotel in the city 4.5* Madison Square Garden - Convention Area (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $194/nite with: Pets Allowed Fitness Center Business Center Restaurant No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Free Internet ==> Crowne Plaza HY36 Midtown Manhattan which is a fairly new hotel, also right by Penn Station for easy subway access, and currently the #19 best reviewed hotel in NYC Any of the above work for your needs? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help.
  20. Why only the Disney Port Orleans or Caribbean? What about some of the Disney Springs hotels that now offer transportation, extra magic hours, and 60+ day fastpass sign-up? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  21. Hotwire Hotel

I'm seeing on HOTWIRE: 4* HOTWIRE Union Square West for $177.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Boutique Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf ==> Best guess would be the Clift 4* HOTWIRE Union Square West for $189.00 Pet Friendly Boutique Smoke Free Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Blind Accessible Travel Accessible Bathroom Accessible ==> Best guess would be the Tilden Let us know what you decide or if we can be of any further assistance. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  22. Booked it - The LINE, used to be the Radisson. I'll report back after our stay.
  23. NYC (Columbia University)

Yes! Take the subway it's not a problem. Thanks
  24. Hotwire Hotel

Thanks guys for helping me identify the hotels. I really appreciate that. It turns out that the above hotels became quite expensive after adding in resort fees. And Hilton has disappeared from the selection. What about these other hotels? I'm trying to keep my all-in budget per night below $280 including resort fees and taxes. Union Square West (4 Star) $177 (60% recommended) FULL AMENITIES: Boutique Restaurant Fitness Smoke Free Free Internet Hi-Speed Internet Business Golf Pet Friendly Union Square West (4 Star) $189 (60% recommended) FULL AMENITIES: Boutique Restaurant Smoke Free Hi-Speed Internet Business Golf Blind Accessible Travel Accessible Bathroom Accessible Pet Friendly Thanks so much. :)
  25. Thank you so much for your help. I really don't want to stay in a non Disney hotel as I don't have a car and rely on Disney transportation. I went through your link and that is exactly what I found on Priceline. I am so glad that I didn't take the offer. I will stalk Priceline and Hotwire to see if I can get Disney Port Orleans or Caribbean. Maybe it is easier to get them closer to September? I will certainly post again to let you know what I found. Thanks again - this forum is awesome!
