  2. SF Hotel 6/21-6/24

Also, to add- we are not too particular about what area we stay in, just need to be in the city. My husband is partially disabled and won’t be able to walk much so we will need easy access to public transportation and Lyft/Uber. We have never been to SF and would love any recommendations!

  5. Congratulations on your success! Good to see you're pleased with the results and looking forward to your trip. I wouldn't be too concerned with the lack of a Free Breakfast being listed as this is a standard amenity at all Holiday Inn Express properties, so you too should receive breakfast just as any other guest would. As i often say on the board: "Hotels need to have all the amenities they show... but they don't need to show all the amenities they have". Thank you for sharing your win with the board and helping us update the Hotwire Hotel List with the new amenity set for this property. Please click the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Enjoy your stay.
  6. Downtown Chicago

From the original list of hotels above this one: ... is not only the highest rated, gets 4.5/5.0 TA rating, but is also the least expensive. So why not this one?? I have stayed here and it was a very nice hotel, imo. It's about a 25-30 minute walk to Millennium Park so i wouldn't want to stay too much further north than here, but it's a very nice walk since you're basically passing all of the stores/shops of Michigan Avenue along the way. I don't know specific parking garages nearby but i'm sure you'll find one separate from the hotel (parking at any hotel in the city will be expensive... a private garage less so), but to re-iterate, i wouldn't focus on the parking as there are garages all over the city. If you really need to watch your budget and the parking expensive is going to be 'make or break', you can always drop one person off at the hotel with luggage and have them check-in while the other person goes and parks the car at a more remote location with the cheapest parking (and the walks or takes a bus back to the hotel)... assuming you're not going to need your vehicle until you depart the city (at which point you do the same in reverse... go and retrieve the car while the other person checks out of the hotel and waits in the lobby with the luggage). If you do end up at the Sofitel there is an excellent Lou Malnati's deep dish pizza place that is an easy walk and for a 'high end' meal Gibson's is right down the block as well. 7. Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you received the hotel you were hoping for and that you're looking forward to your arrival later in the week. Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your purchase. Enjoy your stay.
  8. Please update the Hotel list

Did you purchase this hotel? If so, can you please add a reply to this thread the room rate per nite (before taxes/fees), dates of your stay, and the amenities that were associated with the property and shown before your purchase., dates of your stay, and amenities that were associated with the hotel and shown prior to your purchase... we can then add this property to the Priceline Hotel List as well as update the topic title which will then also add a link to this thread in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins and Priceline Maps. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Thanks.
  9. Downtown Chicago

Hmm well if I decided to skip the breakfast for a nicer hotel I’m fine with that too, but I would like to know the best hotels near a parking garage near the park or river north for the price
  10. Yes, I got it and used your PRICELINE link with the 5% off Priceline Coupon and saved an additional 23.00! Thank you for all your help. I got the Caribbean resort for 115.00 a night -23.00 , No resort fees! Thank you for all your help!
  11. Thank you so much for your response. Will it say No resort fee?
  12. Hi, Please update the hotel list for Munich, Germany as follows: Zone: Hauptbahnhof - City Center - Oktoberfest Deal: Priceline Express Deal Star level: 4 Hotel: Drei Loewen Thanks
  13. If you wait and hope for something different to come up i would not be surprised to see the deal above disappear, so if you do like the deal above i would suggest making a decision sooner rather than later. PRICELINE EXPRESS and HOTWIRE offers can disappear at any time! Let us know what you decide or how we can be of further help.
  14. With the history of the Biltmore would have expected a better overall rating. Rarely see this hotel under $200 anyway so $137 was a deal even 4 years ago.
  15. 4* NOB HILL ($114)

This HOTWIRE property (to get the full amenity set you will need to use our BiddingHelper.com tool and in the EASY VIEW tab click the GREEN 'Full Amenities' button next to this offer): 3.5* HOTWIRE Union Square West for $129.00 Free Internet Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Kitchenette Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ==> from the Hotwire Hotel List this does match previous reports for The Donatello Hotel and would be my best guess for this one You could also consider: 4* Union Square West (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $131/nite with ($160 for room with 2 Double beds): Pets Allowed Fitness Center Business Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Hilton San Francisco is my best guess here 4* Union Square East - Nob Hill (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $164/nite with: Fitness Center Restaurant No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Free Internet ==> Orchard Garden Hotel which gets great reviews... $180 for a room with 2 beds Any of the above work well with your plans? 16. Downtown Chicago

I wouldn't let this be a guiding factor in a large city such as Chicago... it should be easy enough to find a local bakery, donut shop, etc. (Eatily??) where you can get coffee and a baked good for about $10 or less for two people... and if you look closely at the hotels above, the 4* properties without breakfast seem to be a much better value (at least a $10 better value, imo) than those that offer Free Breakfast. Also note that Free Breakfast is not typically an amenity that is associated with 4+ star hotels... i would seek both breakfast and parking separate from the hotel. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
  17. Unfortunately i don't have any insight into this property, and with 0% reviews from HOTWIRE customers this may be a new hotel recently added to the HOTWIRE system. What is it that you're looking for in a hotel for this trip and what is your maximum budget? (per nite before fees/taxes) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  18. Thank you so much. It seems like I am totally unable to find something on my own. There is the Halloween Party on the 25th and I just found out that there is a special food and wine event at Swan/Dolphin on the 9/25-9/26. I will have a look at their amenities regarding transportation and fast pass reservation as this looks like a great deal. A split stay is definitely a good idea...even though I still hope that a Disney resort pops up for 9/21-9/26
  19. 4* NOB HILL ($114)

Thank you very much. $150-$200 is about the maximum budget. We could extend our stay at the Holiday Inn Golden Gate for about $233 per night including taxes. I thought there would be better options available... as the Stanford Court appears to be. Do you have any insight on this property? A 3.5-star Condo in Union Square West area (95% recommended) for $129 per night. Amenities: Business centerFitness centerGolf nearbyKitchenetteRestaurant(s)Smoke-free roomsSpa services. I suspect this is the Donatello. Appreciate your expertise. Tim
  20. Downtown Chicago

You can see the parking rates at the Millennium Park city lots downtown here: https://www.millenniumgarages.com/multi-day-rates/ Otherwise, parking is very expensive downtown unfortunately - hotel parking is generally $55-70+ per night. The River North area is a terrific choice - it's an easy walk to a very wide variety of restaurant options. It's also not too far from many hotels to a subway station and Michigan Ave. The Water Tower zone is a bit further North and also an easy walk to the Michigan Ave area. The top end of the Water Tower area is the Gold Coast, which is an area that has a lot of nightlife and a number of popular dining options. River North would be more central in the city as a whole, but both River North and Water Tower would be good choices. While breakfast at the hotel is a nice added value, I will note that there are plenty of great breakfast options in the city. Let us know if you have any questions at all before booking. 21. Downtown Chicago

Free breakfast is a key figure in what me and the wife are looking for, but the location of the hotel is pretty key because we will walking most of the time downtown, and what is the parking situation like downtown? Is it cheaper to park with hotel or a different parking garage, and what are parking prices like?
  22. Downtown Chicago

I'd recommend staying along the river or North of it. Parts of the Loop (especially the West portion of it) can be quiet/very quiet at night. There are some reasonably priced options (especially considering Chicago in the Summer) for these dates such as: HOTWIRE (and you can use the 10% off promotion in my signature) 4.5* HOTWIRE Magnificent Mile - Water Tower for $113.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Boutique Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Childrens Activities Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ==> Best guess would be the Sofitel 4* HOTWIRE River North for $119.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Boutique Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> With a 4.5/5 tripavisor rating on the detail page, best guess would be the Dana. The Dana has been seen with this amenity set previously. 4* HOTWIRE River North for $139.00 Complimentary Breakfast Indoor Pool Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Golf Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Best guess would be the Embassy Suites Downtown PRICELINE EXPRESS (please confirm the correct dates of travel are showing on the detail page after clicking the links below.) 3.5* Magnificent Mile -Gold Coast for $113 Free Breakfast Pets Allowed Fitness Center Business Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Free Internet >>>Best guess would be the Residence Inn Mag Mile Let us know what you decide or if we can be of any further assistance. I'm very familiar with Chicago and happy to answer any hotel or city questions. 23. 4* NOB HILL ($114)

When searching for 6/30-7/3 it looks like the offer above increases in price a little: 4* HOTWIRE Nob Hill for $128.00 ($151 for 2 Queens) Pet Friendly Boutique Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf ==> if this is what you're seeing my best guess would be the Stanford Court San Francisco Does this work for your needs this trip? (if not, what is your maximum budget for this leg of your trip... per nite before fees/taxes) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
  24. 4* NOB HILL ($114)

Yes - correct. I will be checking in on the 1st and checking out on the 3rd. So only 2 nights. My son is 20. I saw that this selection has bed choice available and we can get 2 queens for $139 instead of the $114. Sorry, I should have mentioned that.

  27. For 9/16-9/21 how about: 4* Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $139/nite with: Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center Business Center Restaurant No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Free Internet ==> best guess for this one would be the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel ... or you could book the same for 9/16-9/24: 4* Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek <-- CLICK HERE and (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $152/nite with: Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center Business Center Restaurant No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Free Internet ==> best guess for this one would be the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel It looks like things being to get very busy on the nite of 9/24 and then the nite of 9/25 becomes even more difficult, possibly due to 'Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party' on 9/25... so unless moving 3 times during your stay is something that you would be willing to do, you may want to consider the above for 9/16-9/24 which would then leave you with only one move for the 'difficult' nites of 9/24-9/26 (and even perhaps consider a Disney Springs hotel that offers transportation to the parks for these 2 nites which may have more availability and be more affordable). Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. 28. Wondering if you know what this hotel might be? I pasted the amenities from the RateDrop site. FULL AMENITIES: Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services
