Virginia Beach oceanfront - 2.5* $105/night Some significant amenities Bar Restaurant Pets allowed Outdoor pool Free breakfast I'm thinking either the Sheraton or the Wyndham, but it may be one off brand. I want to take my dog, so nailing it down is important to confirm that pets are allowed. Thanks. Hint: Your 2.5-Star Express Deal will be one of these hotels! The Oceanfront Inn Ocean Suites Comfort Inn & Suites Oceanfront (P.S. None of these hotels are pet friendly based on their websites)

    Bidding Issue on Priceline

FWIW, NYOP is working in Priceline app (Android). Browser NYOP is still out of service
  7. Thanks for the response thereuare. I should have been more clear. I feel like I could find great deals for that time frame throughout the year, but what I'm really trying to do is score a disney resort, specifically a value family suite, because I feel the discounted room will fall more into my budget of $200-$250, as those rooms are $330 right now. So I guess if you know historically, how far out is the best time for disney resorts? Of course I do know by the very nature of hotwire it's a crapshoot so we will be happy regardless. I have a family of 6, 4 children 2 small children so really any 4 person room will suffice, as the little ones have a portable bunk bed. https://www.hotwire.com/hotels/details/MzAwMDg0NzM3NjU6MzAwMDg1MzQzNjg4OQ-- This is an example of one I just found. I know it's not a disney but I wonder if I should expect these even up to 1 week out? Thanks again

  9. Welcome to BetterBidding! The best time to book would be whenever you see a good deal at a property that works well and fits your needs; especially since you're looking for something specific. How many adults/children do you need accommodations for? What is your expected budget (per nite before fees/taxes)? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know the information above and we'll take it from there.

So let's take a different approach... why not the guessed Kimpton Epic hotel? What is missing from this property that would make this an ideal choice? I've stayed at this Hyatt many years ago and while it was a nice hotel, we enjoyed our stay (pre-cruise as well), and it served our needs well... but the pool area is not really anything special. Las Vegas Bidding Help

Searching using our BiddingHelper.com tool and looking in the EASY VIEW tab: 5* HOTWIRE Center Strip - Fountains for $117.00 Pet Friendly Suite Boutique Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Kitchenette Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ==> best guess for this one would be the Vdara Using the EASY VIEW tab you can also click the GREEN 'What Hotel is This?' button inside of the offer which also suggests that this is the Vdara. 12. Hello World Nov 30th - Dec 8th or possibly the following week for a value resort family suite Disney World onsite? For instance Lion king family suite, etc. I will be traveling regardless during that time but one the next week too. I am okay with not scoring a disney resort, but it will be an added bonus. If I dont score a disney resort, I will reserve it from here. Anyone have a good idea of my chances for that time frame? Its the week after thanksgiving so should be slower. Is T-6 out the best time to look? Thanks!

  14. 5-star Boutique Hotel in Center Strip - Fountains area of Las Vegas Check in 8/23-8/25 $117 per night Amenities: Boutique hotel Business center Fitness center Internet access Pet friendly Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Smoke-free rooms Suite Thank you!
  15. For each of the above: 5* HOTWIRE Center Strip - Fountains for $82.00 Free Parking Free Internet Pet Friendly Boutique Casino Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Tennis Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> The Cosmopolitan would be my best guess for this one 5* HOTWIRE Center Strip - Fountains for $107.00 Pet Friendly Suite Boutique Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Kitchenette Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ==> agree with the Vdara 5* HOTWIRE Center Strip - Fountains for $108.00 Resort Pet Friendly Casino Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Bellagio is my best guess here As far as the resort fees, sometimes they are listed as just the resort fee amount, sometimes the resort fee including taxes, and sometimes they are not updated as quickly as the resort fee at the hotel changes, so the amount shown by HOTWIRE has typically always been a little different then the actual amount charged by the hotel. Disney Hotel 5/24-5/27

Happy to help! If you are okay with the Disney Springs area, I'd be happy to research offers in that area, as well. I'm seeing on HOTWIRE, for example (5/24-27) 4* HOTWIRE Disney Springs for $148.00 Free Internet Resort Pet Friendly Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Tennis Spa Childrens Activities Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Best guess would be the Hyatt Grand Cypress 3.5* HOTWIRE Disney Springs for $118.00 Suite Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Tennis Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Doubletree Suites Orlando Disney Springs There is a definite risk that rates go higher closer to the stay given the time period, but if you want to wait, you can use our ratedrop.com free service to monitor rates and also, you can reply to this post and we'd be happy to research and see if inventory/pricing at Disney properties has changed between now and the stay. Thank you for keeping us updated and let us know if you have any additional questions. I think it really becomes what you want from the hotel experience and how much you are going to use the amenities. Additionally, how far do you want to go from the port? I still think that this listing on PRICELINE EXPRESS is a great option (please confirm the correct dates of travel are showing on the detail page after clicking the link below.) 5* Downtown - Port of Miami (<<<---CLICK HERE to go direct to the listing) for $133 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool >>>Best guess would be the Kimpton Epic The Kimpton gets fantastic reviews (4.5/5 on tripadvisor) and has a pool. At the 4* level, I'm seeing on HOTWIRE: 4* HOTWIRE Downtown - Port of Miami for $96.00 Free Internet Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf ==> Best guess would be the Hyatt If you want to consider other areas, how far are you interested in staying away from the port? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.

    Disney Hotel 5/24-5/27

Thank you! This site is so helpful. I don't think any of those options are going to work for us this trip. The Swan is on my list of resorts to try but I don't think we want to deal with moving during such a short stay. We've got a refundable booking at a disney springs hotel that we're going to keep for now. I've learned a lot browsing this site that will help me with future trips.

  21. Hi, I could use help ID'ing this Hotwire deal... Dates: 5/5-5/6/2019, 1 night Using the BiddingHelper, Hotwire Easy View shows $82 for a 5* Casino Hotel ($82 for 2 queen beds or hotel chooses; $103 for 1 king bed) $44 resort fee (it seems like none of the casinos actually charge $44, they are all $39 - is Hotwire inflating the resort fee to avoid IDing properties?) Easy View cannot ID the hotel and the 'boutique' tag throws out the Bellagio. What is your guess? Thank you! FULL AMENITIES: Boutique, Casino, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf, Tennis, Spa, Free Parking, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Wheelchair Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly As another point of reference, Hotwire has a 5* Boutique Hotel for $107 (same Fountains zone) that BiddingHelper IDs as the Vdara. FULL AMENITIES: Boutique, Suite, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Kitchenette, Golf, Spa, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly
  22. We're hoping to find a disney hotel for 2 for 5/24-5/27 for under $200, though under $180 would be preferred. We would book any of the disney resorts other than all star sports. I've read that the Disney resorts are usually not available until 30 days out from your dates. Is it too early to look now? It's last minute and a holiday weekend so we're not getting our hopes up and will stay off site if we can't find anything. It never hurts to try, though.

    Bidding Issue on Priceline

My heavens, does Priceline hire the most incompetent developing world support staff that they can find? I've had the most frustrating day trying to get them: To understand that there's a problem. That what's broken needs to be fixed. That my business will go elsewhere if I can't login and use the Name Your Own Price interface. All they reply with are unresponsive canned responses that suggest that a bot is assisting them and when the bot isn't doing the job of replying, then a human is and quite often s/he is uniquely incapable of comprehending, well, just about anything. Terrible customer service. Simply awful. And unless I've failed to follow a step or two, thereuare, there seems to be no difference doing what you suggest. It's all still a black hole of digital dysfunction!
