This is not a first similar post - publicly available price at Hotel's site is lower than Priceline bid.

I run the exact bid of $121 ($111+$10 bonus cash from Entertainment Book), $120 got rejected.

Had to invoke Best Price Guarantee, after some fight they refunded the difference plus gave me some coupons.

Still working on 9/14-9/17 - 3.5* $140 failed !

As far as I know it conflicts with convention

Used $10 bonus from the Entertainment Book link, making my bid $72

Price is exact, bid at $71+10 did not work.

For the same time period $125 failed 3.5*

I also needed a few days prior, but even with adding Sep 16 3* bid failed at $95

My header meant to be: "Chicago (NMA-River North) Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza, $82 Sep 17-21"

Started at $55 for 3*, rejected - they offered free re-bid if I add $15 p/night.

I skipped that, added zone and re-bid at $60, no luck here.

Added zone, re-bid again at $65

Hotwire has this Hilton at $101 at night, so I'm ahead here.
