  1. I hope it is ok for me to post this question under this thread? I have a question about this zone. I'm on a cruise that is ending on 9/21. If I book in this zone, what is the best way to get from the cruise ship terminal (4 people with luggage) to this zone. BTW, pier 88. Is ferry this best way? If so how can I get from pier 88 to the ferry? Thanks
  2. Hello, Staying 9/21 to 9/25 (2 rooms). Thinking about New Jersey as a options to the high costs in NYC. Priceline Express shows 4* Jersey City-Hoboken-Weehawken) for $159 per night. Amenities: Free Internet in public areas Indoor Swimming Pool Pets Allowed Restaurant Fitness Center Any idea what the hotel is? I'm hoping to get something near the ferry and bus to Manhattan (Times Square)... Thanks
  3. Very nice deal. It's interesting what a day or two does to the rates. I checked 9/21 to 9/25 and express is $360 MTW. How did you get the 10% discount code?
  4. This is odd. I'll need two rooms. When I put in one room I get the $187 rate, but when I put in two rooms the 3.5 star express deal for ESB Zone does not come up?
  5. I'm going to be in NY for the same dates. I noticed Priceline Express Rate shows $187 for a 3.5 star in ESB Zone (9/21-9/25/. Is the hotel you won the only 3.5 star in this zone? I was thinking of waiting to bid around the 1st of August. Is this a good deal or should I wait?
  6. I tried for the Prince a little over 2 months before my stay and had no luck. Bid up to $95. I saw numerous people catching it for $85. My dates are 11/2 - 11/5. I waited until about 6 weeks before my dates and rebid. I bid 4* Marina $76 + $4 bonus cash on first bid and was rejected. Rebid Resort and 4* Marina at $81 + $4 Bonus cash and won the Hawaii Prince. You may be bidding just to early. Hope this helps...
  7. Thank you for the information. I wouldn't want to risk gettying rooms in different locations. When would be a good time to start bidding for early November (2nd - 5th)?
  8. Question...I'll be bidding on two rooms in early November (3 days). Will be trying for 4* in the your area. Is there a reason you split the bids up? Is it harder to bid on two rooms? Three years ago, I bid on two rooms in New York City and had no trouble.
  9. Good job... Can you tell me what the taxes and fees are? Do they charge a resort fee?
  10. Hello, This is my first post on this forum. We'll be in Honolulu in early November for three days prior to a cruise. When would be a good time to bid for Resort Hotels. I've heard early November is a slower time of the year (true/not true)? Also, I've used priceline for bidding in New York City, Southern California, and other cities with good success. However, sometimes the room location in the hotels is not the best. Anyone had success requesting an upgrade to ocean or partial ocean view rooms in Hawaii? What is a good price to pay in a resort hotel for an upgrade if possible? Thanks
