I am relatively sure this is the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center at National Harbor and I see it on the Hotwire Easy View but not on Hotwire. When I select in on the Easy view it says "Please enable cookies in your web browser to continue", which they are enabled as far as I can tell. Are the alerts for Hotwire for just the category like a 4.5 star in Fort Lauderdale beach or is it coupled with the actual hotel associated with that selection (i.e. one we have determined for instance the Atlantic Hotel)?

Not specifically looking for the W Fort Lauderdale. Primarily a beachfront or near beach location for 2 adults and 2 children either Hollywood Beach (Margaritaville in particular) or Fort Lauderdale Beach (most likely The Atlantic Hotel and Spa, W Fort Lauderdale). I think I can monitor to prices since I have several weeks before my trip. I expect prices to drop a little particularly 3 - 4 weeks before the stay (although this may not apply as well during the summer months). Thanks.

OK. Thought this was the W Fort Lauderdale based on the Hotel List for Priceline Express but now that I see the room choices include a full kitchen, that makes sense. Thank you.

This is a 4* Hotel shown for $196.00 for 11/10/17 - 11/11/17 stay for 2 adults and 2 childern under 10 with a $27.00 resort fee and 90% recommended. It shows 118 Hotwire reviews and only a 3.5 rating from TripAdvisor. I would think Bally's because of TripAdvisor rating but 90% Hotwire approval seems high for Bally's based on memory (admittedly probably years ago). The 90% seems more in line with Cesar's. I decided to go with the 3.5* Riverside Hotel in Las Olas for $119.00 plus the extra $15 off thru BB. FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower Since I am not renting a car for this one day stay after a cruise, I can get to different areas (Hollywood Beach, Fort Lauderdale Beach) by water taxi (already have a groupon for this) or the Las Olas trolley. The area is nice for walking as well with a Walk Score of 93 and I have stayed there before. Thanks!

If I had to guess this would be Resorts. Besides going to Trip Advisor and looking up the same star rating and the customer rating (taken directly off TripAdvisor), always look at the comments. I reserved on hotwire what turned out to be the Founder's Inn a couple of weeks or so ago for $61/night for 5/27-5/29. Just days ago it remained at that price. Not sure that it will go back down. Note this also does not include a resort fee of ~ $15 - 20 per night. You could split your stay if that seems to be an option. In that case you could get a 3.5* presumably the Sheraton Oceanfront for $116 for Friday night and then away from the beach for the other nights for cheaper since the Oceanfront costs goes up significantly for Saturday and Sunday. Sunday also seems to be a big night for performers on the 3 stages of the beach which also explains the cost.
