  1. Took your advice and decided to go for the 4* River North, Hotel Chicago Downtown. Decided to try a bid first to save a few bucks. Tried $86 first and was rejected. Added Millenium Park area and increased bid to $89 and won. Purchased through your BiddingHelper.com link Thank you for your assistance.

  3. Thank you. I ended up going with the 4* on Hotwire which works well for my needs, especially location. As always, I used the Priceline and HOTWIRE links for searches, and used the BB HOTWIRE link for my purchase. Complete list of amenities (after purchase) Boutique hotel Smoke-free rooms Fitness center Restaurant(s) Business center Internet access Accessibility Accessible for visually impaired Accessible for hearing impaired Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Accessible parking Roll-in shower
  4. Yes, but they are about $20 more than Water Tower which is why I was looking there.
  5. I've been searching the River North area on both Hotwire and Priceline. On Hotwire, my preferred area is River North, however on Priceline they combine these two areas into one. Most of the River North areas on Hotwire are more than I hoped to spend. The exception is a 3 star that I'm pretty sure is the Inn of Chicago, which I don't want to stay at. For this reason, I've been searching for 3 1/2 and 4 stars in the River North area on Priceline, and have expanded my search to Magnificent Mile, Water Tower on Hotwire. I'm sure Hotel Indigo would be fine for my needs except that it's really much further north than I wanted to stay, and would prefer to stay south of Water Tower itself.
  6. Magnificent Mile North - Water Tower 4* $78 10/25/15 Full Amenities: Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access Also says 80% recommended, weekend deal. Any idea what this is?

What do you think it (they) may be?

  10. Priceline Express Listed Amenities: Pets Allowed Free Parking Business Center Airport Shuttle Free Internet Free Breakfast Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center Guest Rating 8+ Was looking for a decent, reasonable place to crash during Summerfest. I chose Priceline Express so I could be guaranteed of having 2 beds. Used BB links to search & purchase.
  11. Amenities include: Free Internet Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Self-service laundry Internet access Used BB HOTWIRE links to purchase hotel.
  12. Never knew a Red Roof Inn to be a 2.5 Star, but evidentally this used to be a Country Inn & Suites. Guest Rating 7.0 Amenities: free breakfast, indoor pool, free parking and pet friendly. Used your PRICELINE link to search and purchase stay.
  13. Saw Hotwire 3 1/2 for $57 and Priceline Express for $58. From amenities, I assumed it was Hilton. Bid $45 and got it first bid.
  14. Saw a 3* listed on Hotwire for similar area for $63. From Amenities and a little research, I guessed it was the Sheraton Four Points. Bid $55 for 3* in North Michigan Avenue/River North area and won. I used BetterBidding's PRICELINE link for my bid.
  15. Saw 3 1/2 star Downtown Louisville that appeared to be Galt Hotel on Priceline Express deals for $56. Bid $45...rejected. Priceline offered rebid for $52. Instead rebid at $48 with additional zone and won. Used 5% off coupon and saved another 5%. Use BetterBidding PRICELINE link to book deal.
  16. Saw what looked like the Hyatt Deerfield on Priceline Express Deals for $51. Bid $41 and was rejected. Tried free rebid at $46 and was accepted. I used the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board for searches and booking.
  17. Using info from PRICELINE EXPRESS deal (4* at $74), I started bidding at $56 for 4* Millenium Park / Grant Park / Loop for 7/4/13. Bid was rejected. I added rebid zone and was rejected again at $61. Tried again at $61 and won Hyatt Regency Chicago. Thanks for the help!! Once again, I clicked thru your HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links for searching and bidding.
  18. PRICELINE has a 4* Millenium Park, Loop & Grant Park for $74. Amenities are restaurant, shuttle, business center and fitness. Guest rating is 8.0 Any idea what hotel this is? HOTWIRE appears to have Hyatt Regency deal for $85. If I choose to go the bidding route, what would your recommendation be to start at? Is it likely to be the same hotel as the Express Deal? Thanks! I have used the HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links from your website to search.
  19. I'm looking for a hotel in Chicago in River North / Millenium Park area. Hotwire has a 4* Downtown Chicago - Millenium Park - Grant Park for $89. Amenities include: Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Spa Services Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Wheelchair accessible Accessible bathroom Roll-in shower I thought maybe it was the Hyatt Regency, but the Laundry Facilites are throwing me. Can you help me identify this? Thanks! I have searched both Hotwire and Priceline thru your links.
  20. Saw that HOTWIRE had what appeared to be the Intercontinental (4 1/2 *) for $69. Went to PRICELINE, started at $49 which was rejected, added another area and rebid at $55 which was also rejected as was $61. Finally bid $64 and got it. Used PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links.
  21. Thought I had posted this earlier, but apparently not. Hotwire posted $50 3* Milwaukee Downtown room for Memorial Day weekend. Did my research and figured (correctly) that it was Aloft. Great deal for this brand new, ultra-clean, hip hotel. A little off the beaten path but nice new hotel. Used HOTWIRE link.
  22. Don't know what's going on in Milwaukee this weekend, but tough to get a deal on a room. Hotwire had no 4 stars downtown. Couldn't snag 4 star downtown or 3 1/2 star in Milwaukee Northwest for reasonable rate. Started around $65 and ended up at $86 for the Hyatt Place. Used the PRICELINE link.
  23. Appeared to be offered on Hotwire for $49. Bid $30 on Priceline. Accepted first try.
  24. Saw that Hotwire was offering what I figured to be the Hilton for the same dates for $54. Decided to give Priceline a shot at $45 (thru the betterbidding.com PRICELINE link, of course). Bid accepted first try. Hotel is convenient to walking downtown and reasonable parking at lot across the street.
