Many free re-bid zones in Ottawa on a 4* so I tried working my way up as below: $78, $82, $85, $88, and then finally was accepted at $91(CAD). PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal was $98 at the time so a decent saving over that. Rack rate is around $200 a night and the location is great for hitting all the Ottawa tourist spots.

I have seen this hotel come up when the usual ones for whatever reason are not available (Westin/Marriott). It gets good reviews although it is an older property that has been renovated. It's location is not right downtown as with the other hotels but it's still walking distance. Parking is $14 a day there which is less than at the downtown hotels and average for the Halifax area. If you were looking for something close to the Commons, it's across the street.

I can also confirm that my Canadian Visa Card also worked on Priceline.com (CIBC Divendends VISA).
