That's what is was, the Inter Continental which we are very happy about. The cheapest room for the same stay at the same place was $269 per night. So, for $119 we feel that we got a very good deal. Used your HOTWIRE link - thanks for the help. Bring on the warm weather!

I just checked - the 2* they are showing shows breakfast and a pool. The place sounds very very very nasty. It is a Howard Johnson.

The amenities for the purchased hotel that was refunded was breakfast and pool.

I bought this for my sister for her birthday. After receiving this hotel and doing a search about the hotel I discovered that all of the reviews were very bad. Took a chance and called hotwire. The girl on the phone was very helpful and even went over to the site to look at the reviews. Well, hotwire refunded my money and let me book another hotel. She said that hotwire would review the star rating and see if it needs to be changed. Very suprised but very happy that they were able to help me.

The hotel ended up being the Detroit Metro Airport Marriott Romulus. It worked out great - took the shuttle to the airport in the morning. Sorry it took me so long to reply.

Wow - what a great win that was. The place was great, rooms wonderful and the view was outstanding.

This ended up being the Bay Voyage Resort in Jamestown. It looks like a nice place for a get away weekend. We ended up paying $121 per night which is a good deal for us. The room is going for $158 per night at their website. As always thanks!

When I looked at the list of Hotwire wins for Newport there is a 3* Fairfield Inn on the Harbor listed. When I read the review it said that it was a condo. So, I thought maybe that was a match for this one. I will let you know what I decide to do and of course will use your link. thanks

Not sure if it matters to you but the pool at the Hyatt Pier 66 is closed until around October 20th. We have a post cruise reservation there.

Wanted to stay in either Downtown or South Beach. Needed two rooms for a one night pre-cruise stay. Would have been happy with a three star. The three star prices for downtown varied from $155 - 188 for the hotels I checked. Bid 3* - 60 Downtown - rejected Received counteroffer of 77 but did not take it Bid 3* - 67 Added South Beach - rejected Bid 3* - 72 Added Southwest Miami (this was a free bid) Got the Hyatt 4* Downtown for 72 dollars. This hotel is currently on the Hyatt website for $249 for the 10/15. I may have been mistaken - It is a 3 Star and is now showing at $73. The icon says condo to the left and when you check the amenities details the word condo is in red next the the three stars and then the word suite is written on the bottom. Do you think this would be the Westin Innisbrook Resort? If so, has anyone stayed there? Is it near anything? Sorry for asking so many questions. Thank you very much.
