I haven't booked this yet, but I received a price through Hotwire at $196.18 for a standard size rental for 7 days, which I think is a pretty good price (considering other searches with discounts have come in at $245). I won't know the name of the agency until I pre-pay and book, and am guaranteed a major rental agency: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, or National. The pickup location says it's "On Airport - Shuttle to Vendor." Can anyone familiar with Ft. Lauderdale airport tell me how far that might be from the terminal area? Also, when I decide to purchase, should I use the HOTWIRE link here rather than my initial search which led me to Hotwire? Thank you.
