Used all four re-bid zones. Started at $80 went up to $87 for 06/20 through 06/22 for 3 rooms. Based on others can't seem to understand why??? People are getting 3.5 star for only one room in Crystal City for $50. Will try again tomorrow.
I just tried to bid $70 for 2 nights, 3 separate rooms 3.5 star in Crystal City on 06/20-06/22/11 and didn't get it.
Got it on the first bid, tried $40-$50 last week and didn't have any more time to bid. Could have gotten it probably for $65, but could not risk being rejected as we didn't want a 3 star and there are no other acceptable re-bidding zones.
This was my third day bidding and i was unsuccessful under $100 and even at $105 yesterday and Friday so I started today at $110 with a 4 star and then moved to 3.5 star. I was very excited to win the Sheraton as this is right by the convention center, where we will be. Unfortunately, after winning the bid I checked the Sheraton's website and it looks like I am paying more than I would have booking with them directly :) Rooms at the Sheraton are $113 WITH taxes while i am paying $140 with Priceline. Oh well, you win some and you lose some.
Tried for two days. First days used all 3 zones and bid up to $47 all rejected. Started at $50 today, then $60 finally got two rooms at $75. Wonder why this has significantly risen since the last bidders in 2010?? Delaware in early March hmmm
