  1. Nothing was wrong with the Omni...would have loved it, but by the time I received the info it was no longer available on Hotwire. I just returned from vacation and I am now on the hunt again. This hotel is is in the same zone, Dupont Circle - Embassy Row).
  2. Sorry unaware that I could not begin a new question. If this hotel ID has not been identified by the board, I feel I will be taking somewhat of a risk. Do you think it will be soon or should I revisit another hotel listing if I need assurance?
  3. Dupont Circle - Embassy Row It is listed as having the following:No smoking rooms, Fitness Center, Restaraunt, Business Center, High Speed Internet and it is rated as a 4*. I am looking to book from 10/3 - 10/8. Thank you!
  4. I can't find this hotel on your HOTWIRE List. It is a 4* Dupont Circle - Embassy Row - Fitness Center,Pool,Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet and SPA....Which one do think this is??
  5. I bid for Resort first. Started at $95, and rebid up to $115. I closed the browser and started over at a 4*, started at $90 and rebid to $110. The $110 was accepted at the Renaissance Ft. Lauderdale!! I am pleased as they wanted $210 for the same night!! Success! I used your PRICELINE link!
  6. I am trying to bid for 3 rooms for 5/19 - 5/21 and again from 5/22 - 5/24. I am getting a different offer depending if I try 1 room vs. 3 rooms on the first set of dates. Is this because there are not enough rooms to offer me 3?? (On the second set of dates it is offering me a 2* and a 1*???? Yikes!!) Both offers say "Best Offer": for the 3 rooms the Selected amenities include: Pool(s), Fitness Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Business Center, Laundry Facilities (self-service). ($119.00) For the 1 room the Selected amenities include: Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center, Spa Services, High-Speed Internet Access, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Business Center. ($97.00) Which hotels do you think these could be? Would it work if each couple booked 1 room each for the $97.00 bid? I think I may need your help again....you haven't steered me wrong yet!!
  7. I am posting on the HOTWIRE thread because all your help was from the PRINCELINE thread. You were right! (as usual!!) the Customer Favorite for downtown was the Hilton Checkers. We got it for $89/night. We had originally booked at $115. for the Wilshire Grand, but after reading so many terrible reviews on TRIPADVISOR.COM, I was determined to find something else. The HIlton Checkers, even though it is a bit further of a walk to the LA Convention Center, has good reviews for being clean & comfortable.....important to me! Thanks Again!
  8. The HOTWIRE hotel said Customer Favorite. Amenities included: Restarant, Pool, Fitness Center, Spa facilities. It is at $89. per night
  9. On EasyClickTravel.com they advertised several 4* & 41/2*that stated "Off the Record". The prices were good, but not knowing the location of the hotel to the Convention Center concerns me, as we would prefer to walk there. Parking is outrageous! On Hotwire there was an Customer Favorite 4* at $89.00. Is there a surefire way of knowing which one that is? I am sorry, I know that this is the Priceline thread.
  10. We are attending a seminar at the Los Angeles Convention Center and I need to book 2 rooms for the weekend of April 29 - May1. When bidding for a 4* what are the hotels that are generally chosen? I am trying to decide if I should just book them myself and pay more to be closer to the Center. Thanks!! Love this board....it always comes thru for me!
