Just booked Tradewinds Apartment Hotel, a South Beach Group Hotel (2365 Pine Tree Dr) for 7 nights, August 8-15, for $70 per night.
Thanks, I wasn't familiar with some of the new betterbidding website features as its been awhile since I've been shopping for hotels. This is very helpful. Well done on the technology!

Priceline.express had it for $51, Hot.wire for $36. Booked this for my nanny, feeling very confident it was the Riviera, which is apparently the only LV strip hotel option for those not 21.

I saw this hotel (or so I guessed) as express deal for $90 and on Hotwire for $86. This is in a new zone, North Huntington - Fountain Valley, not available in the current OC drop down list, so hopefully the moderators can fix that!
I decided to try to bid, hoping to get it for less and I did. Started at $55 in this zone and then increased bids, adding Newport and Laguna Beach zones in subsequent bids (because i didn't think I could get a 3* or higher in these zones for this price) and had success at $75. Here are the details:

I guess I only saved $10 off the Hot.wire Hot Rate and $13 off the PRICELINE EXPRESS rate, but the rate on the hotel's website was $189, $206 with taxes, so I really saved $113! Very happy. Seems like a nice hotel!

I booked this today. PRICELINE EXPRESS had what I thought was Radisson for $65, so I've been trying the last few days to get it for less. Today I started at $54 and it countered at $62. Because I was unsuccessful @ $55 last night, I added the south zone as free rebid and bid $56 and won it. Seems to be a good deal for a downtown hote. We will have to pay for parking, but we knew that before bidding and figured in to the budget because we wanted to be downtown (despite what appeared to be some nicer hotels and/or better deals out by the airport -- those terms are relative, because by the airport most hotels had free parking, free breakfast, etc even though they were lower * rated). And, there is no longer a separate airport zone on PL, there are only two Winnipeg zones, Winnipeg and Winnipeg south. I limited my bidding to 3.5* hotels because I was pretty confident there were no 3.5* hotels by the airport.

Just booked this morning.
Hot.wire had 4* for 88, PRICELINE EXPRESS first had a 4* for $69 (which I thought was the Millennium) and later during my searches one popped up at $72 (it was different hotel because it was 8.0 rating or higher, where the $69 was only 7.0).
In any event, there are lots of free rebid zones in for downtown Minneapolis. I started around $40 and worked may way up. At one point while bidding $52, I got counter for $62, which I assumed to be the Millenium. I closed the browser and started a new session and rebid at $50, and this time I got a counter at $71. I thought that was weird, but when I checked PRICELINE EXPRESS, it was no longer offering the 4* rated 7.0 at $69, but a 4* rated 8.0 for $71. At that point, I assumed the Millenium was no longer an option and I increased my bid to $60 with no luck. I then started searching for 3.5* hotel in downtown Minneapolis intended to go up to $60 before re-bidding on a 4* and increasing my bid, but when I was at $58 I won the Millennium (as an upgrade on a 3.5* bid). It was a weird bidding experience and I guess it just proves how quickly things can change. The Millennium would be my last preferred win, but it is fine for the night. Here are the details:

Booked this last night: Stated ameneties were: free wireless in public areas, restaurant and business center. And it was described as a "customer favorite" with reviews of 8.0 or higher. It was offered at $96 for a King, but we opted for the 2 Queens at $106 as we are a group of 3. Used the priceline promo code to save an extra 5%. i did the BiddingHelper.com, which, unlike the regular HOTWIRE, doesn't say in the title that its a boutique and its 77 versus 78 today (but 82 once I click on book it, and then it does say boutique, 90% hotwire, 4.0 trip advisor) so assuming they are the same hotels, here is the list of
ameneties:
Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower.
to me this is the same list of ameneties as I first reported.
the Knickerbocker as a boutique? i'm not convicenced. plus its a 4.5 on tripadvisor.
and the Gold Coast is not an area on Hotwire. This hotel was obseved in Mag Mile North, Water Tower, area; the Public is on State & Goethe, within said area.
any other thoughts?
I think it could be the Public Hotel? Do the moderators agree?
This search was actually Water Tower area.
for 3 adults. hotel is described as boutique with these ameneties:
Amenities
90% Hotwaire approval and 4.0 on Tripadvisor. I see Dana hotel is only reported boutique in this, but not sure if this is the Dana because it is not showin a spa; and the Dana is 4.5 on Tripadvisor.

was looking for something north of LAX for tonight. tried various areas hoping to find something decent in Santa Monica, Brentwood, BH, Hollywood or Culver City (last choice) under $100. After exhausting efforts in other areas, I moved to bidding Culver city area (where PL express had 3* for $83). I started at $45 and added free rebid scenarios. At $55 I got counter for $79, declined and kept adding free rebid scenarios until I won at $70. I am pleased with this result.
