Hi Using the link I bid downtown 3* for $68 and was rejected and was asked if I wanted to add $17 to get an acceptance. I declined and added the airport north zone and bid $71 and was accepted. Perfect for pre night cruise.

I apologize for not updating this sooner, but when I showed up at this hotel about 1:15 am I was told there were no more rooms available and they shipped me off to Howard Johnsons. Needless to say I was very upset. PRICELINE refunded my money. I am aware of 3 others who also went through the same thing.

Hi Any help in a bidding stategy for July 11th one night 4* Pike Place area. My friends got the Westin for $122 lon a counter offer last month on Priceling. Westin web site is $249 plus taxes. Or a strategy for a hotel lesser 3* or 3.5* if there is something else close by. I have bid through the links up to $106 with no luck. Any help appreciated.

I see now it might the Inlet Tower...which I got for $48. Bid 3.5* $47 was rejected added 3* and bid $48 was accepted. Used the PRICELINE link..

Oh I see now and Golf near by...thinking it might be the Dimaond? But looking for a hotel near the rail and cheap HOTWIRE or PRICELINE as I dont get there intil 1:00 am the night before the cruise. Thanks

Hi Sorry I confused and decided to just bid knowing I might have saved a few more dollars. Using the PRICELINE link I bid french quarter $45 rejected, added Garden $50 rejected, added Matairie for $60 accepted. Marriott New Orleans 555 Canal Street Marriott is always a name I can trust

Hi 3.5* is lowest as it seems most Priceline winning hotels that are 3.5* 4* hotels are not going for much more than $100 that night on their web sites. Being I get in so late I wont be doing much that night so dont want to spend a lot, but want convenience and opportunity the next a.m. if possible. For example Omni Royal Orleans is $99 and you can get a full breakfast for $1.00 on their web site. Hope this helps.

Wow you are the best! I think the French Quarter will be fun and a good choice if I can walk around there in the am before heading to the port. Or my friends are staying at Embassy Suites downtown area and that is showing $89 for the night and would be close to them, but not necessary if I can get closer to see some sights that next morning. I appreciate your help with what to bid either convention area or french quarter. Thank you!!

Hi I booked a cruise last night last minute out of New Orleans. I need a hotel from for 1 night Wednesday April 8th. Does anyone have a good bidding strategy for Priceline 3* star or higher probably by the airport as my flight does not get in until 12:30 a.m. Also can any one identify this Hotwire property: Airport Zone 3* Non smoking Fitness Pool Resturants Business Center High Speed Internet $61 Also how far is the airport from the cruise ship terminal? If far would I be better off in the French Quarter for the night?

Thank you for your quick response. I didn't think of it being in Orange county you are probably right. Freinds said Mariott is 1.6 miles from Stadium, but yes by the Marriot would be best for getting together with them. It would be nice to get something for around $100-$120 before taxes of possible. Hi Can anyone help me. I am looking for a hotel room as close to Angel stadium as possible. Does anyone have any tips or assistance for me please? There are so many locations and I think it is one of the Disneyland ones, but which one I am not sure. I am looking for July 19th and possibly the 18th too. Thank you for assuring me on that stay. I feel better about that now and certainly feel the price is fine for one night cruise pre stay. Not sure why I thought I was getting Intercomtinental either LOL! Wishing thinking I guess!

Hi Using the PRICELINE link from better bidding I bid $78 and was accepted first try for downtown 4* Hyatt for $78. The price on the web site was $128. I thought for sure I was going to get Intercontinental, but that is the rules of the game and I lost. But I am sure it is a good hotel and nice amenties.
