  2. Soccer tournament (Western Regionals featuring state champions, boys and girls, U11-U19), runs from June 14th to June June 21st in Lancaster, CA. Our team is staying in Valencia however, and we need to be near them.
  3. Hotel shows amenities as: -Fitness Room -Pool. We will be in Valencia area from June 13th-19th. Hotel is shown as $64/night. Have bid on *2 1/2, 3, and 3*+ hotels on Priceline for same amount in this area, but no luck yet. Should I just grab this room now? There is a huge soccer tournament in the area that week. All help appreciated!
  4. Hello to you all, I am taking my family to Arizona to spend time with my grandfather March 23-30, 2006. He lives on the 5000 block of E. McKellips in Mesa. It has been a long time since I was there, and I'm having quite a bit of difficulty finding anything within 10 miles that isn't going to cost me at least $70/night + taxes. I'd appreciate any advice at all as to which properties are worth taking a crack at; am I just being unrealistic to think I can find $50/night motels in this area, considering also that it's during Spring Training? Thanks, Steve
  5. Thanks for the advice re: the Suites. The best I could find, however, for rooms (suites) with 2 dbl-beds and a pull out sofa was $229 + tax a night , making two cheaper rooms more attractive..
  6. Location: Seattle DT/Pike Place/Space Needle.. we want to stay DT-ish, not Bellevue, etc. Space Needle area is just fine, as 1. It's not THAT bad of an area, and 2. free parking is important for cheapskates like us! Dates: July 27th and July 28th, 2005 Needs: two rooms/three beds total (there will be five of us; we'd much prefer a suite so we could stay together, but there are only a few of those that I know of in Seattle that we've stayed at, and they are generally $200+/night, and come with "some baggage"..) I am welcoming any and all advice regarding a potential PL bid for the above location and dates! Hotelchecker found: Expedia------ Seattle Vagabond $79/$89 per night + (single/double beds) My own searching: Travelocity------- Travelodge Seattle City Center $77/$87 + per night (single/double beds) Advice/potential PL bids welcomed, and thanks! ~cerealtrader
  7. Advice sought for potential PL bid for the following: rental location: OGG (Maui, Hawaii) rental pickup: April 23, 2005 1:30pm rental dropoff: April 30, 2005 noon. rental need: minivan I have booked a minvan with Alamo, with Ent. book discounts: $265.98 (total). This includes the 2nd driver free (other agencies are charging $5-$7/day extra for this). I have checked the Car Rental Checker. Am I at all likely to beat this rate with PL? Advice welcomed, this is a great site! ~cerealtrader
