Thankyou. My flights are booked so my plan is 5 nights in Nola, 3 in Memphis and 14 in Houston. I have never been to Memphis so don't have a preference and will most likely go for a 4 star deal. Houston I have nearly always managed to get the Westin Oaks which is my preference. It appears to be fully booked my last 3 nights so I may go to The Woodlands then. But I can think I can find it on Hot.wire for the first 7 nights then 4 nights so I am plucking up the courage to try it, probably today!

I'm very undecided on this one.Think I will get my Memphis and Houston hotels booked up first.

I've booked that 4* description a few times in the past and always got the Westin Oaks. I've been searching for it for April but it's not there for those dates at the moment

Memphis April 17-20 Hot.wire has a secret hotel which I am 99% sure is the Peabody for $690.45 total Pl Express has one for total $456.87 The amenities are only listed as restaurant/fitness centre/free internet/business centre I am wondering if this would be the Westin? As no pool listed? Thankyou

Went up to 61$ no luck. Will try again tomorrow. I haven't decided on top figure yet but the hotel we like to stay at ( Le Marais ) is over 1000$ for the 4 nights so hopefully I will get something a good bit less than that.

I started bidding for a 4* in Nola French Quarter, 4 nights 5th April - 9th April. Started at 49$, added a zone 51$. Next day 53$,added a zone 55$ Tonight I will try again going up in 2$. I may try adding more zones after checking out which don't have 4*. Just checked and there are loads of rebid zones I can add

I'm just biding my time on this one whilst keeping my eye on Hotwire/Priceline express deals in case they change. I'll start a new thread on my "name your own price" for Nola which I have just started bidding on

I am looking at Houston Galleria,9th April - 21st April Hotwire 4* deal 85% recommended ( 981 reviews ) T/A 4 out of 5 fitness centre pool(s) restaurant(s) internet access business centre in room access Priceline 4* deal Guest rating 7.0 pool pets accepted business centre fitness centre choice of 1 or 2 beds When I always got the Westin Oaks before the nearby tennis was the giveaway imo Thanks for any help I can't find any 4* on PRICELINE with a guest rating of 7.0 Going by reviews I am thinking maybe HOTWIRE is the Westin Galleria. It just worries me the last person got the Sonesta it says

The past few years we have booked a Hotwire deal which was identified as the Westin Oaks and luckily this is what we got. However I see the description has changed this year and there is no real clue. When I clicked on it said at the top the last person got the Royal Sonesta. I really wouldn't want the Sonesta and I also notice on Priceline name your own price a lot of people are winning the Sonesta. As it is for 12 nights in April I don't want to make a mistake. The Priceline secret hotel has a choice of 1 or 2 beds and says pets accepted. Any clues on this one? For the first time I am unsure what to do. I don't mind any of the other 4* star hotels in galleria area but just don't want the Sonesta. Thanks for any advice.

I did use the HOTWIRE link for my travel to Houston. Through the PRICELINE link I have bid $63,67 and 71 for 4* French quarter Nola for June 4th to June 7th but no luck. As I not in a hurry I will just bid once a day.

Now goin to try for 3 nights in New Orleans, will post my success
