  1. Sorry..the amenities were Free Breakfast Free Internet Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool(s) Business Center Internet access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower
  2. just booked this since the amenities and price were within my expectations.
  3. Used a forum link to PRICELINE. Was thinking/hoping it would be the Marriott courtyard(s) in the priceline list of hotels but got the Best Western Oakland Park Inn instead. Not particularly happy with the hotel from reading around so I called priceline right after and they are giving me credit back less a $25 service charge. But it's a hotel to be added to the Fort Lauderdale North priceline hotel list for future reference! The prices for 3* in FLL airport area (where I have stayed and prefer) is really expensive so I thought I could move a bit north and get the Marriott courtyards since I had a car anyways.
  4. wow..so mandalay bay is now considered a 5* and same zone as Cosmo/Aria/Vdara? that makes it interesting and people need to think twice before bidding if they would be unhappy with as far south as mandalay bay!!
  5. Won this a week ago thru the Priceline referral link on website. I used the link for the additional $10/night (50max) I found on this website to bid. Used the mapping tool which was super helpful to look at historic/future range of prices and figured out it'll be $70-$90 to win 5*. Started at $60 +$10bonus and rejected, add $5 with rebid zone of strip north (wouldn't mind wynn/palazzo!) and won at 65+10 = 75 bid I was originally booked at Planet Hollywood (my fav property in vegas)but for only $30 more a night, gave aria a try eventhough I don't like it's location (don't intend to gamble or eat there), wanted to keep the gf happy! lol
  6. Started Bid at $40,$45,$48,$50, accepted at $52 using rebid adding in zones (since other than downtown there are no 3.5*) Seems like a nice hotel that gets good reviews, was hoping for location closer to the "entertainment" area, but can't win them all.
  7. first bid $46 for 3* Aubrurn Hills and was rejected. added in Troy and rebid $46. accepted by marriott. seems like a nice place
  8. Started bidding at 39 and after a few rebids by playing with zones bid 45 for 3*. Got counter offer for 13 more, so i rebid again with $47 and got it. This property has not gotten favorable reviews on tripadvisor but i'm going to keep an open mind and bear in mind a lot of the negative review was also based on dated decor and bang for the buck. for my price i think i did fairly well.
  9. I'm looking for a hotel in the orange county area for 12/26-12/29 and on hotwire a 2* hotel in disneyland north area pops up with the following ammenities Suite and Laundry. anybody have a good idea on what it might be? also am interested if anybody knows what a 2.5* in Costa Mesa with Breakfast, internet, and pool might be?> thanks
  10. first bid on priceline and accepted for 3* in disneyland area i thought i would get rejected and start bidding up. but looks like i may have overbid, but probably not by more than 5/nite :)
  11. i've been looking at the 4* LAX since last nite and it was around 60-65...but this afternoon the 4* jumped to 95/nite (the hotel changed to the westin from amenities list) so when i saw the sheraton for 62/nite again tonite i booked it right away. used the Giftcard06 code and saved another 10/nite so effectively it's 52/nite which IMO is a great bargin on a sidenote, i used firefox to access hotwire via savings barn and i did notice as others have said firefox is 3 dollars cheaper than IE when i opened both pages at the sametime anyways..thanks for help on this board to help me save $10 a nite and help me identify the property as the sheraton.
  12. still works as of June 22, 2005 :)
  13. woops sorry..it was for sep 5-9 2005
