  1. Check-in: Wed Mar 15, 2017 - After 03:00 PM Check-out: Tue Mar 21, 2017 - 11:00 AM Offer price:$65.00/night Adjusted room price (bid) with Hotel Fee Credit: $65.00/night Hotel fee:$0.00 Number of rooms:1 room Number of nights:6 nights Room subtotal:$390.00 Taxes & fees:$71.40 Taxes:$71.40 Total charged today:$461.40
  2. Used the PRICELINE link on this site. Ive got this place for less before. but due to Christmas and other expenses I could start the bidding game months in advance which has earned me lower rates then what I paid. I looked on the Days Inn's website that they were advertising 80 a night (2rooms left). PRICELINE at 76, elsewhere 73. I bid $40-60, increasing by $5 each time all rejected. when I saw only one room left Increased another $5 winning at 65 a night. I don't mind the hotel. im happy I got better then the advertised price but disappointed knowing I could have got it for lower like in years past.
  3. 40%? i was thinking id be able to land something around 150 USD but its not looking likely at this point.
  4. Pick up. March 15 2017 around 930am drop off drop off. March 21 2017 around 5pm economy or compact
  5. First of all i want to say if this is in the wrong area, moderators please move this to the correct thread. Ive used the PRICELINE link in past when bidding on here. Usually i get rock bottom rates because i only need a hotel to sleep a few ours each day. Its my first time attempting to bid for a car rental and I'm struggling to figure out what my ideal price should be. Im Looking to book a car rental from LGB (Long beach Airport) in March 2017, but i dont understand how to how a daily bid price of $17 brings the taxes and fees to $79.55. Whats the tax % for car rentals?
  6. Used the Priceline link from this site to complete my bid. Originally wanted something on meridian street so i bid $60 and $65 unsuccessfully on a 3 star hotel After some research i figured the guest house, Holiday inn express and a best western were possibilities for a 2.5 star hotel. i stayed at the guest house last year and it was good, only downside was it was two exits from where i hopped to stay. I also noticed that the express bids for a 2.5 star hotel were around 61 so i figured id be safe at a $50 bid. All in all its a good bid.
  7. Used the links from this site to bid through Price.line. I usually give myself more time to bid and get the lowest rate in the area I'm interested in but needed to secure a hotel ASAP. First bid of 50 rejected Immediately asked to increase my bid $11 and won the hotel at 61 a night. Good deal. We've stayed at this hotel many times and usually get it for about 45 or so a night. Love this hotel.
  8. Update: This place was a dump I posted my review of it here: http://www.tripadvisor.ca/Hotel_Review-g58350-d124045-Reviews-Days_Inn_Bellingham-Bellingham_Washington.html Because of this bid i chose to bid for a higher star hotel for my next Priceline winning bid
  9. Let me start off by saying i used the PRICELINE link from this website. I wanted the 3star hotel for $60 and was declined. I added the 2.5 star hotel to the list and got it for $60. Something tells me $55 would have got me the same hotel but we'll never know now. Bellingham Best Western Plus Heritage Inn Date: 11/23/12 - 11/24/12 Offer Price: $60.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $60.00 Taxes & Fees: $14.39 Total Charged to Card: $74.39 Not Bad.
  10. Started a few days ago with a 20, 21, 22 and 23 dollar bids all rejected. looked on this site for ideas and saw no cheap wins around this time of the yr in that area so i bid $41 for 2nights and declined. with another card i bid $41 for the 24th and won and was able to add a night. With taxes its $52.95 a night Not bad. 33% savings.
  11. Just following up We booked this, called the pick up office in SNA while in Canada and confirmed how we were paying (Debit) and when we got there we found out our debit cards are not welcomed. they must have a visa or master card logo on that. In Canada the only things that have that are credit cards which we did not have. A little disappointed that the paperwork from priceline did not show this. after speaking to a priceline rep we were informed that these details can be found on pricelines website. it wasn't a lot of money to throw away but it did suck. I guess we know for next time.
  12. I just wanted to follow up on this hotel incase others are still planning a trip to the area. We thought that we were going to be 20mins away from disneyland when we booked but when arriving at the hotel it seemed really close. the ART bus stops just past the intersection. Its about a 2min walk from the hotel. 3mins if the toddler decides not to go in the stroller. The ART bus comes every 20mins. we never waited longer then 10mins. and the ride to Disneyland is about 6mins. We got our money's worth. we didnt stay in the hotel at all and paid next to nothing for it. Its very spacious. it is a 1star but i still wish they would revamp the washrooms. curtans and paint was a little dated. all in all id stay here again.
  13. Not too happy with this bid, actually i dont really like the bidding process for cars. The one bid per day for a certian car type. But anyways day 1 i bid $12. Day 2 i bid $13 declined. day 3 i bid $14 and declined. Day 5 i noticed on hotwire prices dropped about $3. I think i could have won at $13 or $14 bucks but won at $15. 3 Your Offer Price: $15.00 (per day) Total Rental Days: 3 days(2 days and 18 hours) Subtotal: $45.00 Taxes and Fees: $18.02 Total Charges: $63.02 Lowest Published Price: $94.66 Total Savings:* $31.64 (You saved 33%) I used the PRICELINE link from these fourms.

  15. Hey guys I havent got a date in mind for when i want to travel next year but im just wondering if you bid for a hotel through priceline does it include foods and drinks?
  16. We do see a 3.5* hotel that looks interesting, no free breakfast but we might go with that. we are going to wait a bit and keep checking back here for better deals. our trip isnt until feb.
  17. Thanks for the help. After checking out HOTWIRE, it does look like the better fit for us.
  18. Hey Guys, Im new to the fourm and I hope im posting in the right area. I want to start off by saying that i do plan on booking through one of the PRICELINE links on this site. It appears many have won bids around the cost im willing to pay. We dont plan on sleeping much in the hotel. Mainly needs it for breakfast, a shower and to sleep. I just need to know how i should go about my bidding and what potential hotels would i land. COST: Im looking to spend $45.00 a night (max) if the hotel has a resort fee. If there is no resort fee im willing to spend no more the $57.00 a night (max). HOTEL CLASS: Looking for 3* or 3.5* A hotel with complementry breakfast would be a plus as we will be traveling with our 3yr old daughter. A shuttle service is needed. If we have to walk 5 or 10mins to it thats fine. We dont want to be too far from the park. Thanks in advance for your help.
