  2. No luck up to $145 SB Ocean Drive and Collins. Will try again tomorrow as we don't want to stay in SB Central. Thanks for the help!
  3. Thank you both! Bidding now with the following rebid zones: Miami Lakes Miami West North Miami Bay Harbor Islands SW Miami Dadeland Aventura
  4. $150-175/night would be great. And I always make sure to use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links ;)
  5. Looking for a 4* hotel in South Beach - Ocean Drive or South Beach - Collins Avenue Oceanfront. Max $150 +/-. I started rebidding and increasing the price, but am afraid I'm going to mess something up and end up by the airport. What do you recommend?
  6. Thanks! Just to clarify - I booked two rooms at this hotel. One for $111 through HOTWIRE (as a 3* hotel) and one for $110 through PRICELINE (2*).
  7. Booked through PRICELINE. Interesting that this hotel is 2* through Priceline by 3* on Hotwire.
  8. Great deal booked through the HOTWIRE link. Didn't copy the amenities before booking, and they're not showing up under "My Account" in Hotwire.
  9. Amenities: Boutique Hotel, Near Beach, Pool(s), High-Speed Internet Access
  10. Post-holiday holiday in Chicago. Mixed reviews from Trip Advisor, so I'm hoping that it is really a 4* hotel and not a disappointment.
  11. Booked through the PRICELINE link on Better Bidding.
  12. Started at $40, rejected, got a message that I could increase to $54 and book. Re-bid at $45, rejected. Re-bid at $48, accepted. Taxes & Fees: $14.05
  13. Amenities: Fitness Center, Pool(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access
  14. Yes, the amenities were as shown on Hotwire. However 3* is really stretching it...
  15. Heading back for a conference next week. Paid $15 more per night than when I stayed there last time, but the Omni is a great hotel. Booked through the PRICELINE link at the top of the page.
  16. Forgot to post this win last week. Was traveling for business, and a colleague needed a last-minute hotel, so we booked his at the same price (after trying lower bids) at the same hotel. Both using the PRICELINE link thru BetterBidding.com, of course.
  17. After booking a great deal earlier in the week ($70/night at the Grand Hyatt), family members wanted to stay downtown tonight. Got an even better deal at the Hyatt Regency for them tonight! (Started at $55, no deal, then added Aurora for $60, and got this deal.) Booked through the PRICELINE link, of course :)
  18. Got it on the first bid, so I think I probably could have gone a little lower. Happy with the price, though, as it's $159/night on their website. Booked through the PRICELINE link at the top of BetterBidding.com
  19. I just heard from a friend who is going to be able to accommodate me for the weekend. So glad I don't have to spend $500 on what sounds like a not so great property/deal.
  20. Need help Oct. 7-10 West Hollywood/BH, or Santa Monica, Up to $100 per night 3* or better would be nice. What strategy would you recommend?

  22. First bid at $140 rejected. Second bid (added 4* in Austin North, which doesn't exist) for $150 accepted. Of course I used the PRICELINE link :)
