It looks like it could be the Hyatt Pier 66, but..... No golf near-by (how could their not be, this IS FL) Retail Rate is $259 which sounds too cheap for the rack rate at the Hyatt. What I need is a hotel near the cruise port and I was hoping to get one that would let me take the water taxi.
  2. I have had great luck buying Disney Vacation Club points from a point owner and staying as their guest. The best place to find a point owner is buy searching ebay and post a question to a seller. Let them know what you need and when and they can quote you a price. I like Old Key West.
  3. Sure, the resort route is fine, although I don't think I'd take the Hotwire deal of $160/night. PS: I have got the Disney price down to $134/night.
  4. Oops. I didn't mean to say Priceline. That should read hotwire.
  5. Currently we are planning on staying at Moderate Disney owned Hotel like the Carribean Beach Resort at $150/night but I heard you can sometimes get the Dolphin or Swan for about the same price and that they feature some of the same Disney exclusives, even through they are not 'Disney Hotels' When checking Priceline through SavingsBarn.com the only 4* is: Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Business Center (Wyndham Palace Resort and Spa ?) for $160. 1. How often do the Dolphin & Swan come up and do you think I can get them for these dates? 2. Any idea if they offer the Disney Magic Express or similar free Airport Shuttle services?
  6. I'd like to be under $100 for a 4* or $70 for a 3*. I also heard about hotels on the waterway that have water shuttles to the pier but I don't know which hotels they are or what zone that is.
  7. Beach Area. I want to be close to the Cruise Pier
  8. I am looking for a 3* or 4* in FLL on 1/21/6. So far I just tried a $76 4* bid to see what I could steal. any suggestions?
  9. This Hotel features the following amenities: Restaurant(s), Pool(s) Fitness Center, Business Center 2 room(s) @ $74.00 per night x 1 night(s) $148.00 Taxes and fees: $26.95 Hotel Subtotal $174.95 Total Price $174.95 This is the first time I've seen that the Hyatt is a 4.5* and available on Hotwire. It regularly is available on Priceline for $50-$60. With the Entertaimment Coupon, our 2 room purchase comes down to $59 each--not a bad price but not the best deal either. We were hoping for the Westin. thereuare: Will you update the list of Hotwire Hotels with this new info?
