  1. Rejected at $38 for same period with 3*, lowered bid to $36 at 2.5*, received #2 rated Hotel Property per Trip Advisor in Rapid City. Pool with slide, looks clean, and good reviews. Slow Period? Trying for Van or SUV now from MPLS. Here are details: Thanks again for this service, although looks like not much for success in SD per your Sharepoint Records! :) Country Inn And Suites Rapid City 2
  2. We stayed twice in last 4 months. Different seasons, varying results. ThereUare - You may want to edit this, and also change the name from Radisson to City Center Hotel on Reviews, and Mapping. Thanks again for this service. PS: THis is for St Paul MN property - Hotel. As mentioned, this evidently was a Radisson in the past. Although different name now, I can't remember who it was aligned with now, but City Center Hotel is the name. Here's a link to About the Hotel: http://www.citycenterhotelstpaul.com Sept 3rd 2006, Labor day weekend, it was slow. Talked front desk into upgrade to top floor suite when I showed up alone with 3 kids. It was a 2000 foot banquet hall with 10 person meeting table, and bedroom, not to mention the fold out bed in main room. Place was quiet as mentioned, decent pool. We were there to get up early to fair in the morning. Had a ball. They even gave us coupons for great hot continental breakfast at 3rd party location in basement. Not bad for a $41 investment plus tax and fees, and tip to front desk. I can say that my Brother and my kids (totaled 7) had a good value, as they stayed over after swimming. Nov 3 2006 - Ended up here short notice with wife this time and kids, after a wedding. Paid a little more, $52. Turned out it was a Wild Game (NHL Hockey) evening, irritatingly awakened by drunk bunch next door at 2am, had to call security a couple of times. No upgrade this time, and no free breakfast either. Much more crowded, I know to stay away now when there is a game in town. We ended up a Dixie's in St Paul for brunch - Very good. Overall, good value, good properties are hard to find in St Paul, and this is central to St Paul. I live about 100 miles to north, and occasionally stay overnight for business and family needs. The beds here are very nice too, plumpy mattresses, and pillows. It's all about timing, and we hit it right on Labor Day. Thanks for this service, looking for more hits in MN!

  4. Ended up with a Convertible from Budget, Prices seemed high but maybe still top draw in FL this time of year . 7. Travel to Big City. Trying for quick family hotel with pool, prior to day at fair. Started at $31 for 3 and 2.5 star, northern region of metro area. Tried 5-6 regions, rebidding, with no luck. Closed out and started 2.5 again, system balked at first, but let me add additional regions, and ended up with this property. Web site looks good, best Web rate was $97. Parking is $12 but should find street parking on holiday. Quick 10 Minute ride to fair. Last summer swing, school starts Tuesday. 9. Update on stay: Nice place, out in the suburbs. Great Pool. Somewhat hard to find, it is actually at the Corporate McDonald's Center, and there is no signage. Parking is one block away. Clean facility, looked like an excellent workout facility, we did use large swimming pool and hot tub. Wedding parties when we were there on grounds. Big sanctuary. Excellent value for the $, if location to the loop is not that important. We were 20 minutes to downtown attractions. Suggestion: Get directions first, I spent 30 minutes at 11pm looking for hotel with a tired 11 year old in tow. I will try to post some pictures of facility in review section. :) :) EDIT BY THEREUARE: please post pictures at RealHotelPhotos.com and then provides links to the pictures. Thanks.

  12. hot Breakfast, front desk said weekend was full, I booked it late in the day on Friday. Long term stay facility, kitchenette, with fireplace. Great size. Eden Prairie - MN.
  13. Tried two days straight with your rebid strategy, for downtown areas. I am up to $107/night, wtih two free rebids for both NMA and Millenium area. No Luck yet. Will give it a rest, and try again in a few days. Best Hotwire rate for 4* is Any idea what "boutiques" are from a class standpoint. They between 3 and 4 stars. Thanks.
  14. NMA is fine. I know that there would be available in Western Suburbs. It is just the two of us. I am looking for $100/night or less.
  15. We are looking for a room downtown if possible. Traveling with my 11 year old, so pool would be nice. Am flexible to some extent to location, so suburbs are an option, but loop is more desirable. Would not need a rental car if downtown. We are doing the museum, pier things. Want to aim for $100/night. Looks like a larger convention is in town (25k). Any Suggestions appreciated. Would not be able to split if downtown without vehicle. :) Frequent user of your site, and book through Savings Barn.
  16. In November, R.com had a promo worth $ towards Tickets.com with every purchase. Great Deal. They run promos regularly, including 60% off deals for members, etc. You need to sign up for email notices to get them. Somewhat limited selection in my area for restaurants, with sold out quite common. I did have an issue with one venue putting up a sign after too much usage evidently. They used to have coupons which were good for 50% off up to 8 people. Recommended.
  17. First Try, here are details. No shuttle until 6:30am. Old Raddison. Best Hotel Site Price was $105.00. I thought it was a tough date, did not have any luck about two weeks ago, may have started a little lower then. Year is 2006. Your Offer Price: $55.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $55.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $14.05 Total Charges: $69.05
  18. Western edge of Duluth, inland. Pool with Whirlpool, free Continental Breakfast with Waffles, Free Wireless Internet, and free cookies upon arrival. There were 20 rooms available for New Year's eve when I asked (tomorrow Night). Facility is newer, I would say within 5 Years. Quiet. We have a Double Queen Room, and I went right to work after arrival with two cranky kids (10pm). I would recommend highly from what I can tell right now. Will update if things change. M
  19. The date was 12/30/05, tonight. Free Internet, Continental Breakfast, and right by the Mall, intersection of 53 and Central Entrance. I will look for comments section to rate the Hotel and add to when found.
  20. Quick Room Needed in Duluth MN, bid $51 accepted immediately at Fairfield Inn. Subtotal: $51.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $14.31 Total Charges: $65.31 Not on the Canal, but good location on top of hill next to Relatives. Pool for the kids and free Breakfast. Could have started lower, but had tried last weekend in St Cloud, and got shut out. Limited availability at times in smaller cities with Holidays. Happy.
  21. Restaurant.com specials can also be purchased on ebay, for select venues. I recall buying a 50% off coupon, no limit, for $3. Restaurants can change their mind fast though, and post "no coupons accepted" if they get hit too much.
  22. This chain is based in Metro Burnsville area. Rixmann Group, related to chain of Retail Pawn Facilities, acquired older properties, renovated, and opened as extended stay properties. Never have stayed at one, but know of them. I think they actually took out the pools at some of them to make more rooms. They have three I believe through Metro Area of Mpls/St Paul, including Burnsville, Oakdale, and Moore Lake area (on 694), and one additional property in Ohio.
  23. Thanks for great advice, was going to try rebid, but I am happy with this on first attempt. Bid originally for 3*, and they upgraded to 4*. Must be slow, maybe should have started lower: Your Offer Price: $61.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $61.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $14.68 Total Charges: $75.68 Review of property looks like a business hotel with great pool. Short Taxi to Cruise Port, not sure of Airport Shuttle, but will call. I have never been disappointed wtih PL. Looks like web site wants $200.00+
