  5. Yup, those are all that are listed. No golf nearby. Thanks- Also, that original post should have read "does NOT include 'golf nearby' " like pdwhite's win posting.
  6. In 7/11, out 7/12. Burlington area. 3.5*. $62. 80% recommended. Amenities line up with a previous Sheraton win posting by pbwhite in March, but my listed amenities for this hit does include "golf nearby" as his did. I've listed the amenities that came back for my search below. Any insight into whether this is the Sheraton, or what it might be? Thanks! 8. Trying to pinpoint which of these is the Venetian (or the Wynn). 5*, North Strip, in 11/10 out 11/11. 9. Good tips everyone -- but for now I'm bowing out. I had made an original Expedia reservation at The Majestic in Japantown months ago for ~$90/night. The hope was to get into a nicer hotel in a better area for only $20-$50 a night more thru Priceline, but these prices have pushed me out. I'll keep checking and see if rates drop closer to the date. Again, thanks to those who posted for the advice.
  10. Bid up to $150 today from $125, with only active 4 star zones being USE and Financial (thanks for the thoughtful tip mrsmegawatt) = still no bites. Will try again tomorrow and maybe push up to $160 or so. Not loving my first Priceline experience!
  11. Just tried USE and USW going from $125 up to $150, adding the five non-four star zones incrementally, with no luck. Looking like this is going to be an expensive weekend for lodging. Will try again on Monday when I'm back from camping.
  12. Yeah, I'd probably go up to $150/night for either USE or USW -- both four star options seem comparable going off of reviews, and that location is pretty ideal for where I want to be. Going to hold off on another round of rebidding tomorrow. Thanks for the responses -- I'll refine my bidding strategy for this next go round.
  13. Thanks for the reply. Wondering if in most people's experience you have better luck bidding closer to the date of travel. I'm just over two weeks out at this point. Would love to snag a 4* in either USW or USE for $120 or less -- but considering this weekend seems pretty busy, I'm certainly willing to up my bid and max out at $150 a night if that's what it takes. Thanks for all the advice...
  14. OK, tried four rebid zones while going for USW, then a fifth adding USE, all rejected. Added $5 each time, last rejected bid was $120. Am I right to assume that I should just wait 24 hours and then try again with USW, starting at $120, and add the zones each bid again in increments of $5 ? Also, is the Marina/Lomardo Street a non-4 star zone? This is a bit unclear in the hotel list...thanks for the help! Seems like a tough weekend to score a great deal here vs. other weekends.
  15. First time Priceline bidder here. Looking at 4 stars in San Fran, in 8/6 out 8/8. USE probably preferred after doing some research, although USW, SOMA-Mascone also considered since a recent bidder won the Intercontinental which seems to get good reviews. Ideally looking to keep the price around $130 or under each night. Recommendations for how to proceed/people's favorite hotels in these areas greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  16. Looking for more beta on similar dates/location/quality. I'll be in 8/6, out 8/8, looking at Union Square East or West, 4 stars. SOMA area possibly considered as well if a good rate on a recommended hotel is coming up. Thanks for the help-
