Can also book $90 rate on other OTA sites that are not opaque, so what was the point of blind bidding? Shame on the person who does the revenue management for this property, misleading and a shady practice. Reviews are mixed for this hotel so not sure what to expect, fingers crossed hoping it is ok.

In the past it was easy to distinguish between the Sheraton and Hilton East because the Sheraton listed laundry facilities. This time when I booked the hotel listed Hi-Speed Internet, Business Center, Pool, Fitness Center...so thought I would be getting the Hilton, but ended up with the Sheraton on Grant Road. Both hotels are comparable, but the Hilton has easier parking and is closer to where I need to be. Rate was $60, or $76.30 with taxes. Disappointed was not the Hilton, but good rate.

Great Rate for the HILTON, considering most hotels in the area are $100+ during this time. Used the HOTWIRE link on better bidding. Hotel amenities as described: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business. I have booked this hotel a few times thanks to better bidding.

Used the PRICELINE link from BB and found a 3.5 Star hotel in the Pasadena/San Gabriel area. Accepted first try $69 (maybe I should have tried lower), still a great rate for the area. Lowest current rate is $129.00 for same dates at this hotel.
