Final Decision:
Used HOTWIRE Hot Rate hotels for Central Wilmington 2.5*
and I ended up with $155 a night for a double queen room at BEST WESTERN PLUS Coastline Inn.
Overall it was a great deal for the weekend! Thank you so much for all the help!
Hi!
I need help selecting an oceanfront hotel on 10/12-15/17. I would like the following:
Star Rating: 2-4
City & Zone: most flexible
Travel Dates: 10/12-15/17
Room rate: Less than $125 per night
Amenities: Ocean front is a must and prefer indoor pool. Also would love suite style.
Group: 2 adult, 2 children
I am happy to do a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal or bid, but I don't know how if that is possible and still guarantee the oceanfront part. Is that every listed as an amenity.
Thank you!
So I have decided Central Wilmington near the river and Front St or Wrighstville Beach. But I don't see Central Wilmington area listed among the hotel list that have previously won bids. What does that mean about hotels in that area? I see a couple listed in the hotwire deals but I don't know how to match them up.
2.5* Hotwire Central ---> 159
3.5* Hotwire Central---> 199
3* Hotwire Central---> 209
I am most particular about the rating and location of the hotel and not necessarily the amenities. What would you recommend: bidding or a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal/hotdeals?
The prices seem to be higher than last week. Is there a chance they will go back down closer to the booking date?
Of course, I want the lowest price possible. What should be my strategy?
star rating: 3+
-city and zone: Wilmington or Wrightsville
-travel dates: 9/23-9/25
-room rate per nite in US Dollars: Max at $120
-either oceanfront or pool or something exciting.
Is there any chance of oceanfront at $120 a night?
