  1. Yes, I did use the PRICELINE links... was I supposed to put that in my post re the winnings? Thanks for the great site.
  2. Bidding on 4 rooms for one night. Was hoping to get one of the hotels closer to downtown (the Renaissance is up on a hill by the State House, but still close.) Wanted to keep it at 4* though, since the 3.5* Marriott is further out of downtown and not idea. Wish I got Westin, but can't complain with the price! This was my first bid. Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $65.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 4 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $260.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $45.24 (USD) Total Room Cost: $305.24 (USD) Now moving on to the Boston leg of the trip.... definitely going to be more! :)
  3. Have been to USW / Nob / USE a bunch of times, was banking on getting this Hyatt to be near the water. Planning to call and haggle for bay-facing room. Looks like parking can be found locally for <$25 a night, hopefully, if willing to walk a couple blocks. I started with just this area at $71, then added non-4-star areas one by one, upping the bid a few dollars each time until it passed. Took 4 tries (added SFO/San Bruno, Fisherman's, and Civic Center.) I would have liked the Omni, but even with the extra fees, this is still a good deal. Here's my total: Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $85.00 Subtotal: $170.00 Taxes & Fees: $35.16 Total Charges*: $205.16 Happy bidding, all!
