  1. I have gone up to $95 so far. We plan on spending the day before the cruise in New York and figured the Jersey City side would be more convenient for getting to Bayonne for the cruise. We would also like to stay in the same area when we get back Jan 4 & 5th but I haven't tried those dates yet but the prices look to be about the same. Thanks.
  2. I have been trying for Jersey City for this date for a few weeks now with no luck. Ideally I would like the Hyatt where I have stayed before but am not too fussy. Hotwire has what looks like the Hyatt for $159, Hyatt website show a rate of $179. Also the Doubletree has a rate of $299, Courtyard is $169 and Candlewood suites is $180. Is it too soon to be trying for this? Am I correct that there is only one free rebid in this area? We are leaving on a 12 day cruise from Bayonne and would like to avoid the $16/day charge at the port. I have been thinking about the PATH parking lots that allow weekly/monthly parking. Any thoughts/recommendations on that. Is the car safe enough in one of those spots? Thanks.

  7. After several tries over the last few days got this for $80. I have never paid more than $50 but that was at the weekend. Still not a bad saving over the regular rate of $181 CAD with taxes. I fugure it will cost me about $110 CAD after exchange and the Priceline fees & taxes which are $19 on this bid. Used savingsbarn link as always.
  8. Got this after trying at 3* level. Looks like a good deal as there is a Nascar race in the Poconos that weekend and several hotels had nothing available. Oddly though if you go the the Marriott website you can't get a room at the Residence Inn that night. I hope this doesn't mean I have a problem when I check in.
  9. Yes, thats right, started with east & added fairgrounds and airport.

  13. I took a cruise from honolulu three years ago and the dock was a lot closer to Waikiki than it was to the airport. We took a 10 minute bus ride to Hilo Hattie's and passed the Norwegian Wind in port. If I was you I would stay in Waikiki unless Norwegian have moved to a different dock
  14. Started at $45 and accepted at $48 after one free rebid.

  16. Fitst is downtown Vancouver entertainment district: Suite, fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center, & high speed internet. After looking at the hotel list again I am thinking it would be Terminal city club tower hotel. The second is Vancouver downtown West with Boutique, fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center high speed internest laundry kitchenett and spa. That looks like the Pacific Pallisades. Would you agree. Thanks.

  25. Bid $35 Pointe Claire and got counter offer to add $9 to bid. Declined and added Dorval and upped bid to $38 which was also declined. Although not a free rebid was OK with the area.
