1. Holiday Inn Bellingham 4260 Mitchell Way, Bellingham, WA 98226. Note that this is not the Holiday Inn Express. There was also a 10% PRICELINE EXPRESS deal as well this weekend.
2. Started bidding at $80, went up in $5 increments by adding zones with a win at $110. Best price on Kayak was $269. I did use the Priceline link. Thanks for help in bidding as always!
3. I tried doing Name Your own Price for 2.5* up to $85 and did not get a win. I realized there was a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for $80 in Seattle Center and received the Quality Inn & Suites. The amenities listed prior to accepting were Fitness Center / Free Internet / Free Breakfast. I did use the Better Bidding PRICELINE link. Thanks!
4. Bid from $130 up to $175 for 3.5*+ including Downtown-Pioneer Square Area until I received this. Hotel is listing for $240 so a decent find but not a slam dunk.
5. Beautiful hotel, very clean and modern and friendly staff.
6. Tried bidding 145, 155, then $160 which was successful. Thank you for your awesome site, very helpful! I did use your Priceline link :)
7. Bid over two 24 hour periods at 3*, $50, $55, $60, $65. I did use the PRICELINE link :) Normal rate was $133, thanks Better Bidding!
8. Got this 4* hotel on the first try for $70! I thought that was a lowball offer, wish I would have started lower but am very pleased! Cheapest rate on Kayak was $160. Very much appreciated help from this site as usual!
9. I kept bidding the Arlington and Foggy Bottom 4* zones up to 105 without any luck. I added Dupont Circle and got this this hotel. Cheapest price on Kayak was $259/night and the location looks great!
10. Yes my mistake, there, it is 4*. I extended for one additional day to 3/12 for the same price as well.
11. I had tried bidding in the 130s in SoMA, Financial District, and Fisherman's Wharf and finally got a bite at 136 in US-E. The win isn't spectacular but I am happy with the savings compared to traditional booking considering the short notice. I did use the BetterBidding PRICELINE links. This website is an awesome resource!
12. Tried bidding Union Square-East for 100 up to 130 for same dates unsuccessfully with several rebid zones. Bid 115 after adding financial district and was accepted. I am pleased with the win.
13. Hotel is showing age but was clean and spacious with plenty of parking. Breakfast was not fancy but had lots of good options. Lots of restaurants nearby.
14. Beautiful modern hotel. Very pleased. Grocery and restaurants nearby. Self parking $17 a day in secure garage. Wifi is $13 a day. Great views from 12th floor. One block from Rosslyn metro which is 3 min train ride to Foggy Bottom metro in DC.
15. Fairfield Inn (307 Eastwood Rd) I was really pleased. Cheapest price was $99 on Kayak. Took a little bit of a gamble on this one as the ESA which does not appear to be as nice is in the same category. I did use the BetterBidding PRICELINE link. Thanks as always!
16. I tried to extend a stay the day prior at $82 but was declined, new bid for $85 did go through. $105 for 3.5* in SM-MDR was declined. With free parking and wifi this still seems like a good value. I used the PRICELINE link to bid of course. Thanks again everyone.
17. I tried $105 for 3.5* in this zone a few days but kept getting rejected. I bid $75, $78, and won $82 for 3*. I tried to extend for one day through the 23rd but was declined by Courtyard. I did use the forum PRICELINE link of course! Thanks again for maintaining this forum.
18. Wow when I checked kayak it had it for $190. Makes me feel good about the deal. thanks!
19. Thanks for the tip. I'll be sure to check it out. I tried to extend my stay another day but was declined with a counteroffer of $180. I need a room for two nights afterwards so I will keep looking around for those days. I am actually spending three nights before this reservation in Burbank for a wedding and the next three days are free days. Any recommendations on zones outside of SM or MdR? First time in LA.
20. I was hoping to get the Doubletree or Sheraton in Santa Monica but got the Marriott in Marina del Ray instead. Seems like an "OK" deal but not great. Thanks for the forum! I did use your PRICELINE link to re-do my bid.
