Began bidding 8/1 at $50. Increased bid $5/day until today when I only increased $2 over yesterday's bid of $90. Savings of about 25% off the hotel's web site. Reviews are mixed for this property, so we'll see! Used the Betterbidding PRICELINE link, of course!

Won this on my second try. Originally bid $40 for 3 1/2*, $38 for 3*, $35 for 2 1/2*, $30 for 2*. All were unsuccessful. Today raised each bid by $2. 3 1/2 and 3* unsuccessful. $37 bid for 2 1/2 star won! With taxes and fees total is $48.54. About $20 under rate on hotel web site, so I am very pleased! Used the BB PRICELINE link, of course! :D

Started bidding at $35 adding $1 each day until I won at $39! Cheapest room for this night on the hotel's web site is $65, so I'm happy! Used the Priceline link, of course!

Had $5/night bonus cash to use today, so bid $60 + $5 bonus cash and snagged this deal. With Priceline taxes and fees total $76.39. Lowest rate for this night on the hotel web site $129 (before tax). Been bidding 3.5 stars for this night at the MIA airport since 8/21. Started at $45, increased to $52 on 8/28, $55 on 9/2, $60 (+$5 bonus cash) today. Used the BB PRICELINE link, of course!! :)

Needed to use $5/night "Bonus Cash" before it expired, so bid $50 + $5 bonus cash without doing any research.. Not my usual style and not recommended! But bid was accepted on first try! Best rate on hotel web site is $119.20. Priceline tax/fees added $47.65, so total paid: $297.65. Used the BB PRICELINE link, of course!

Started bidding on 12/21 @ $45, gradually raising my bid a few dollars every couple of days until I won today. Best internet rate for HI residents $79, nonresidents $89. Not as good a deal as I've been able to get on other Priceline bids (all on the mainland), but still glad to save a few bucks! Used the BB PRICELINE link, of course!

Sorry folks, my topic title must have been too long. Dates for 3* Portland (Downtown) Courtyard at Marriott City Center are 9/9/11-9/14/11. Never tried to get 5 nights before, and wasn't sure how that would go....

I've been bidding these dates for well over a month. My actual winning bid was $78 + $6.40 in "Bonus Cash". Always started bidding for 4*, then added 3 1/2 and 3 stars for rebids. I had been bidding $75 + $6.40 Bonus Cash = $81.40 for 3* downtown Portland since 8/11. Just upped it by $3 today and won! Highest 4* bid was $82 + $6.40 Bonus Cash = $88.40. This hotel seems to be in a great location and gets good reviews on Trip Advisor. Lowest rate on its web site is $179, so I'm very happy! Used the BB PRICELINE link, of course!

I've been bidding regularly for this night at PDX since June 22! Started at $30, increased to $35 then finally to $40 since 7/27. Several times Priceline has counteroffered with bids of $50 or $51 which I thought were too high. Today they counteroffered my $40 bid with $46, and I went for it since I was about to increase my daily bids to $45 anyway. This hotel lists an "internet special" of $75 on their web site for the night I booked, so I'm happy with my deal. Used the BB PRICELINE link, of course!!!

Thank you "Mustang Sally" and "thereuare"!!! I did not realize I actually had to sign into my Priceline profile to deposit my "bonus cash". It is now there and I will access it via the BB link in four hours to rebid my Portland OR hotel. Wish me luck, and THANKS for providing this service!!

Unfortunately, this offer does not appear in "My Rewards"... is there any other way to do this and still use the link?

I've been using the BB link every day for a week trying to snag a hotel in Portland, OR in September. I have just received an email from Priceline offering me an additional $5/day on my bid. The offer expires today at 11:59 pm EDT. I am eligible to rebid at 8:00 pm EDT. I have checked "my rewards" via the BB link, and this offer is *not* there. Is there anyway to use the BB link in my bid today and still somehow take advantage of this extra $5/day bonus? Otherwise I will have to link to it from the email I received. Thanks!

This bid was hard won... actually had placed previous bids up to $36 for compact or midsize over the last month. Winning bid was accomplished with the aid of Priceline "Bonus cash" which bumped total bid up to $32.50. First time I've come down on a bid and won! Total with all fees $259.82, about a 45% savings. Because of the bonus cash offer, I did not bid as usual through the betterbidding link... could I have done so? If so, my apologies...

Unexpectedly had to book a room at LAX for tonight due to a weather related misconnection. Tried once for 3* at $40, was invited by Priceline to rebid the same parameters for $10 more... declined and added 2 1/2* category, and upped my bid to $45 ($58.68 with all taxes and fees) which was accepted. Really wanted to win this bid since time was of the essence... normally I would have increased my price incrementally over several days. Priceline will accommodate same day bids up until 11:00 pm eastern time... good to know if you're in my situation. Used the BB PRICELINE link, of course!
