  1. had been bidding for $45 for a few tries now and was rejected at the 3* and 4* level. Today tried $50 for 4*..accepted right away. Not sure if I included everything...hope so! 3/3-3/4 Westin LAX
  2. I agree...this May, I stayed at the 3* Radisson and it was wonderful! ($65/night)
  3. i just checked Delta for January found flights starting at 609 (saturday to saturday) I know they are in Chp11...so just book with a credit card
  4. thank YOU for posting that! If only I could get away in September...have my sights set on January....
  5. wow! I know how cheesy SoBe can be too and the Chelsea looks to be not bad. I'm looking for 2 nights 4/15-4/17...wonder if I should wait til very last minute...
  6. ohhh thank you for clarifying that! Yes, it was due to a prior issue with a hotel. I guess I didn't get that from the explanation...they received an email from me asking...I bet they get them a lot. thanks! :)
  7. my rebid for my previous Royal Garden nights....bid a ridiculously low $45 (rejected - worth a shot!) and then added airport and $55...accepted for the Radisson Prince Kuhio. I did this through a "bonus money" URL but not sure where the bonus money went! I'm sure they will tell me..... EDIT $55 and $10 bonus money
  8. great advice thereuare....you both went at it from a good honest angle, and it worked!
  9. hello! my problem is I am usually too nice. with my first email i think i was. i did mention all the poor reviews i've read all over and they gave me a canned response. i emailed them again and (of course not with as poor grammar and typing as this :) and reiterated what you wrote (not mentioning any specific website) and just said that i didn't think that was up to a 3* etc etc....i received an email back with my refund and $10 bonus money towards my next hotel. i am extremely happy that they refunded my money and it only took two requests! i plan on using them again to rebook and i told them that, i will just be more smart about it! thanks for sharing, you really helped! so has this website. i'm passing the word! *Brianna
  10. really? i emailed them...i think i should call...how firm did you have to be? sorry for all the questions but i would LOVE nothing else but to have another shot.
  11. I know...I hate to be whiney b/c that is the risk you take w/ priceline but if all the shops and pools are closed...I would be really disappointed! I might give that a try...
  12. I've just been reading more reviews on tripadvisor and elsewhere...apparently the shops and the pool is closed! What kind of 3* is that?
  13. i know they can't guarantee it...in boston my sister and i had to share a bed! oh well, we did it as kids before... i will definitely call and ask... thanks!
  14. ok...they REALLY wanted $110 as I tried $98, $100, $105.... I'm ok with it since I just wanted to get our hotel settled and start concentrating on the sites to see :) Are there any more details I should be adding? Anyone offer advice about hotel rooms booked through priceline and getting NON smoking? Should I call now or the week I leave? I really want a non smoking...I supposed I could bring a little air freshner just in case! :)
  15. thank you :) I think walking around downtown crossing after a red sox game gave us enough experience to deal with city life :):) I really want a base to rest our heads in between exploring the island, this will work!
  16. you're right :) I'm going to go back after the prince on priceline...I'll post the results!! :)
  17. Oh ok...well I only chose Beachfront, Waterfront and Beachside and this was listed as Beachside. The list on this site shows the Aston Waikiki Beach Circle as 2.5...but that is ok. I already screwed myself with the Royal Garden (my mistake)...there is NO way I am bidding on Priceline again for a 3star...even with a packages search. I'll just go with what I know... Thanks!
  18. Does anyone think this is the Aston Waikiki Beach Circle? Selected amenities include: Near Beach, Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Tennis Nearby 5/10-5/13...$67 a night. Sounds low but their standard rooms are around $100 now on Expedia. I really want a partial ocean view one with hope of getting an upgrade to ocean view. Those POV rooms are $113 on Expedia. Might be worth it? Never new Hawaii hotel search would be so complex :) :)
  19. anyone who happens to read this and might know.... honestly, is the RG in a "bad" neighboorhood? I'm 25 and going with my 23 year old sister. The Oahu Revealed map shows it FAR FAR off the beaten path.....
  20. I checked the packages too and thought I would be ok! I'm going to give it one more shot. :)
  21. I wanted to get it for $100-$110 or else I'll just go to Hotwire because they have it for $130 and at least I'll pretty much know I'll get it. I need patience!
  22. Trying for the Prince...cheapest of the 4* on priceline packages. Tried Waikiki North and $98 rejected Tried WN and Airport/$100 rejected Tried WN/AP/IH $105 rejected Tried WN/AP/IH/EC and $110 rejected Can't get that Prince for $100-$110 right now :)
  23. No, I did up to $98. I think I will do $100 once my 72 hours is up. Hope I get it :)
