  1. Please help identify: December 21 to January 8 $206 per/night Recommended in 85% of customer reviews Customer rating on TripAdvisor 4.0 out of 5.0 Resort Near Beach Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Thanks!
  2. I second that, does it say the percent of recommended people?
  3. For the same dates on Priceline, I have made various searches for a trip to Miami Beach. Three hours ago, the median retail price was $396 per night. This is the average rate for the Eden Roc. Now, the median retail price is $443, the same as the hotel Victor's rate. Do you think this means I will get the Victor, and I would have gotten the Eden Roc? Thanks!
  4. I have noticed something else, a lot of the 'secret' hotels have a photos tab that match the hotel from the id when tested on the other site. I guess someone messed up when they designed the site!
  5. Hi everyone. On Priceline, what hotels could I get when I bid on 4 Star Palm Beach area? When I search the list view of hotels, click 4 star rating, and choose the palm beach area, the only hotel listed is the Omphoy Ocean. Do you think that's what I'd get? Thanks!
  6. A few days ago I booked on hotwire and got the W with those amenities/rating.
  7. Hi! I'm not sure if I'm too late, but I think if you call Hotwire and explain to them it displayed a 4* Tripadvisor rating when it was actually 3.5* (and you let them know you are upset about it), they will probably change it. It's not fair that you have to stay at what you thought was a 4* but is really a 3.5*. They might even switch you to something like the diplomat, or lower the price you paid. I hope you get the Diplomat, as it is far nicer than the Crown Plaza. Especially the Beach location. Even if you like the Crown Plaza, it fun to try new places. And if you call them, the worst they could do is say no. But hopefully you get a discount or the Westin!! Best of luck!! Let us know what happens. Thanks!

  13. Hello everyone. I have a question. When I search North Miami Beach 4 Stars on Priceline (not name-your-own-price), It shows 2 hotels: Trump International Beach Resort and Fairmont Turnberry Isle When I go to name-your-own-price, the Fairmont is not in the map section for North Miami Beach. Basically, the only hotel in North Miami Beach with 4 stars is the Trump International. Check for yourself if you want. My only question is, do you think I will get the Trump if I book 4 Stars in North Miami Beach? Thanks
  14. Hi everyone! I have a special coupon code that works with most Carlson (Radisson, Country Inns & Suites, Park Inn and Park Plaza) hotels. You type in CARLSONF in the promo code box and you get rates that are usually around $80 USD/night! This rate is meant for friends and family of radisson employees, but it doesnt say in the terms that you have to have an ID, and when I emailed Radisson and asked them about the code (I asked If I was allowed to book using the promo code CARLSONF and if it would work) they told me it will work I just have to type it in and pay. Also, many people have used this rate and are not asked any questions about it. I have not used it yet, but I plan too soon. Hope it helps people. Bye!! I forgot to say that they sometimes throw in a room upgrade and/or free breakfast with this rate!
  15. Hi everyone. I have been checking the hotels on lastminutetravel.com using the hotelID method (its great by the way! I wish priceline/hotwire was that easy), and I noticed that most of the 4 and 5 start hotels in the caribbean (could be everywhere, but I checked only in the caribbean) have improper ratings. For example, it will say 5 star for 210/night in San Juan, but when I see the hotel it is really only a 3 1/2 star on other sites. The only 5 stars on the site are 400+/night (for my dates). I just thought people should know to check your hotels first, because its usually not a proper star rating compared to tripadvisor/Expedia/ect.
  16. Resort Renaissance Aruba Beach Resort and Casino Is now a 4 star according to Priceline

  19. I am going to bid on a 4 star hotel in Miami Beach for December 18 - January 1 2010/11. I know that the hotels that have been reported are The Palms, The Eden Roc, and The Fontainebleau. My question is if I bid a higher price, do I have better odds of getting a nicer hotel? The Fontainebleau is the most expensive, so if I bid 114 instead if 99, do I have a better chance of getting that hotel? Thank you.
  20. Aria Resort and Spa 5 Star August 24-31 113/night Resort Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access IM SO EXCITED!! :)
  21. i had many different posts about a possible vacation this winter, but they have all been deleted! why is this? They were not spam, and they had comments!
  22. I am thinking about bidding on a hotel in South Cancun zone between december 12 and january 1 and I was wondering if it is more likely to get the Westin or Meridian.. The Le Meridian is way nicer, so is there a more likely chance of getting one or the other? If I bid higher or lower or something? thanks. One more thing, the median retail price is $138/night
