I apologize for forgetting to update this thread. Anyway, I have not bid yet. We have a cruise scheduled for January 2011 leaving out of Jacksonville. The original plan was to vacation in Miami post-cruise (that's why I inquired about Miami hotels here). However, our party is having second thoughts because they do not want to drive 5+ hours from Jacksonville to Miami, especially since this will be our first time in Florida. We are now looking to switch to a cruise that leaves out of Miami. As of now, our dates are not set yet so I will wait to bid on the hotels. Once everything is finalized, I will use the links here to book our hotels.

I'm looking to get a room for this weekend in Appleton, WI. I'm hoping to win a room at La Quinta. This is how I plan to bid: 2.5* for $30. Is this a good bid? I've reviewed the winnings on this board as well as the tips. I've seen winnings for La Quinta from $35 to $45. This is my first time bidding so I hope I didn't confuse anyone. Thanks in advance!

Hello, Before I start bidding, I have a question and hope that you guys can help me out. Which hotels are within walking distance to all the tourist attractions in Miami/Miami Beach? We won't have a car so we need to stay near places that are within walking distance. Thanks in advance.
