Thanks for all the advice. The LQ is a possible option. We don't mind going outside of Carlsbad. I checked Hotwire and there is a 3 star in Oceanside for $79/night. The amenities listed are comp breakfast, fitness, pool, laundry, high-speed. Any ideas which hotel it might be?

We are looking for a 1 night stay near Legoland on 3/11. Three star hotel. We have 4 kids ages 7,5,4 and 20mos. and would like to stay in the same room. So, we are willing to book with HOTWIRE if necessary. We don't know a good bid starting point. We are willing to go up to $75 or $80. TIA!
