  1. Need help identifying Burnaby hotel. Dates are June 13th to June 14th/09 2 adults 1 child Amenities Fitness Center, Restaurant,Business Center, Spa $70.00 By what I have read on these boards it looks like a match for the Hilton in Metrotown. I am just curious if the Hilton is the only hotel with a spa in Burnaby? Thanks for your help.
  2. Well...it was not the Holiday Inn Express at all. As a matter of fact it was no where near Metrotown area of Burnaby. It was Coquitlam. Best Western Chelsea Inn on Brunette Avenue. It was a disappointing booking(made through this website) on Hotwire. It willl still be fine for what we need. My hubby is in Vancouver for a conference for two days...the skytrain(rapid transit is only 1 1/2 blocks from the hotel) Hotel includes breakfast...reviews are pretty good. The location is fine as we are driving anyways. Oh yes...I did call the hotel and asked for a room on the top floor at the back of the property, away from highway noise. The desk staff seemed friendly and helpful. When I asked regarding the "kitchenette"...he said the room has one King Bed and a sofa bed, refridgerator, microwave and sink. So suits us fine. Just thought I would share. Thanks for all the help. Here's one for posting: 3 * Best Western Chelsea Inn 725 Brunette Avenue Coquitlam, BC Amenities: complimentary breakfast, fitness, pool, business center, laundry facilities, high speed internet access, kitchenette.
  3. Thank you for your input. I found out that the Best Western King's Inn has a mini fridge in each room. They have kitchenettes available with a microwave, stove and dishes, etc, but each Standard Room has ONLY the mini fridge..no cooking facilities or microwave. Holiday Inn Express has a microwave and fridge in each guest room.
  4. The Best WEstern King's Inn does offer complimentary breakfast, but not the Executive Inn. I am thinking that it might be the Best Western. Decisions...decisions...will keep you posted. Thanks for the help.
  5. Bumped! I replied to the Seattle Airport query. Thanks again!
  6. We ended up staying at the Holiday Inn Express at Seatac using our Entertainment Card...the rate was excellent and the hotel stay great! Our rate came to only $47.00 per night plus tax. Thanks!
  7. Dates are 3/07/07 to 3/09/07 2 Adults 3* hotel Amenities include: complimentary breakfast, fitness, pool, business center, laundry facilities, high speed internet access, kitchenette. I am thinking this maybe the Holiday Inn Exress? or Best Western Kings Inn? Thanks for any help. I know I i'd a property that you posted as Holiday Inn Express , but the icon included tennis. Just wondering if this 3* property may be the same?

  10. We ended up staying at the Country Inn and Suites for the reunion weekend in August. However, my sister did try the Hotwire 2* and it definitely was Days Inn Regina. The icons were Complimentary breakfast and Pool(s). Sorry for not replying.

  16. Thanks! I was thinking the 2* might be the Days Inn as well...when I searched on the Orbitz site via a link from betterbidding.com, I noticed the only icon was the Pool, just as Hotwire has shown. For the 3* star.. I would love for it to be the Holiday Inn...very tempting to try it and see. Will keep you posted. We have time to book as the dates aren't until mid summer, but it is a long weekend, so will watch Hotwire closely. Priceline does not seem to have many hits for Regina...hard to find any info really. I must say I love this board, compared to the other one I found! So friendly and helpful! Debbie
  17. Hi! I tried for 2 rooms with 2 adults and 1 child in each room. The 3* hotel price has increased now to $71.00 per room per night. As far as the 2* hotel...the only icon is the Pool(s) and that rate remains at $64 per room per night. Thanks again.
  18. I am looking to book two rooms for the long weekend in August - 3 nights: 8/4-8/7. These hotels have come up and wondering if anyone has a best guess? 3 * Hotel - This midscale establishment offers more than just the basics in style, comfort and customer service. Icons are: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness Center,Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Business Center $64per room per night and this one which is a 2* and the only icon is Pool(s) with a rate of $61 per room per night. Nearly impossible I think to pick this one out. Thanks for any help! :)
  19. Another great find. Had a lot of trouble trying for the Hilton 4 * across the street (Priceline- Saturday night issues, I believe) so took a chance with Hotwire on this one. Considering this hotel includes breakfast and no fee for parking ...we are pleased. We have stayed at this hotel previously when it was the Holiday Inn. Love the fact it is attached (literally) to the Metrotown mall...biggest shopping complex in the Vancouver area and the rapid transit system...straight shot downtown to the BC Lions game! Great find. Amenities as follows: Hotel, Complimentary Breakfast, Pool, Fitness Centre,Hi-Speed Internet access, Tennis nearby.
  20. :) Sure...September 16th/2005 ...one night (Friday).
  21. Just thought I would share... Holiday Inn Express Downtown - Edmonton - $49 US, with taxes and fees, etc. 61.95 Area: Edmonton Dowtown - 2.5 * Icons are as follows: Hotel, Complimentary Breakfast, Pool, Fitness Center, Laundry Facilities(self service)
  22. Hi. Bid this last night for a one night stay in Richmond- $45. Wanted YVR area so did not bid any other zone. Started at $30 and 3*, added $35 and 2 1/2 *,then $40 and 2 *, finally went $45 and 1*..and got this property. We are actually very pleased as we have stayed in this hotel before. It has outside three level(motel) type entrances but also includes elevator access as well. Very clean, spacious rooms, with a friendly front desk, free airport shuttle, IHOP restaurant next door. Has a free shuttle to the shopping centre and new RiverRock Casino. Many people use this motel as a park and fly or cruise and fly hotel. This one is adjacent to the Park Plaza hotel that comes up a lot on Priceline. For July long weekend Saturday in Vancouver area...thought it was a decent price. Thanks for this friendly board!
