Got this hotel on first bid. Husband is staying here for work. I bid $75 since we wanted a hotel in Bethesda and didn't want to risk getting 3.5 Crowne Plaza in Rockville. My husband and I are staying overnight to see Sully Erna (from Godsmack). Priceline counter-offered $90 dollars, I decided to add in 1 area and my offer of $75 dollars was accepted. I'm very pleased we got this hotel, since we've stayed here before (at the regular Marriott rate). Great hotel, one of the nicest Hilton's. Great restaurant on premise and tons of shopping and restaurants near hotel Manager took care of parking and internet since we're Hilton Diamond members. They treated us well

Thanks, it's a nice hotel, average hotel accommodations, bed was comfortable but no closet, no drawers only a smallish armoire. A few things I didn't like were: You had to pay $9.95 a day for internet service (IBAHN) and they claimed they didn't have the promo code. Maids worked late so sometime room didn't get cleaned early (meaning before 4-5PM). I'd rather have paid more for a bigger room that included free wifi, better(faster) maids, and a closet (storage).

4/24 - First attempt: I bid $79.00 for a 4 star hotel for 4/26-28 and was rejected. It asked me change dates/area/ higher bid. 4/24 - Second attempt: I bid $80.00 for a 4 star hotel for 4/26-27 (changed dates and upped bid by $1) and it was accepted. I was hoping to get this hotel and because I'm a Hilton Diamond Member. I was able to request and get a King (they said they only had queen or queen handicap rooms) room and they accommodated my Hilton preferences (high floor away from elevator). They were very nice to do this for my husband and I. Staybridge Suites Wilmington-Newark 270 Chapman Road Route 273, Newark, DE, 19702. I was there last week for work. Nice clean property. 2/24-26. I booked through the HOTWIRE link on this web forum. They had a problem with the elevators (fixed) but put me on the first floor. I was in a Queen Studio Suite. Fitness-Gym was adequate. Internet was a little slow. Amenities listed when I bid. Fitness - Business - Internet I thought it may be the New Holiday Inn Express on 273 but I was pleased with StayBridge Suites.
