  1. Hi, I used the HOTWIRE tab on your site. I had been checking for a few days for a downtown hotel. The very last day before our trip this showed up. 3 1/2 * for $59 -- Downtown Milwaukee with the following amenities: Pet friendly Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center Internet access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking •Roll-in shower I decided to go for it, hoping for the Hilton City Center. It was that hotel and I am thrilled at this price. I have stayed here before and have been very happy with the hotel. Regular rates were around $152. AAA rates were $124. Thanks again for all of the helpful information.
  2. This is directly from the hotwire trip details on my account. Pet friendly Boutique Hotel Indoor pool(s) Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Internet access Spa Services I'm not sure all of these were listed when I purchased, but I may have forgotten the details. This is definitely what shows up on "my trips". Again, thanks for the help.
  3. I used the Hotwire link at the top of this site. I was looking for downtown Memphis area two days away for the weekend. I ended up with the Peabody which is the hotel I was hoping for. Paid $172, so not cheap, but I hear it's a great hotel. Showed up as a 4 1/2 star hotel, Hotwire description stated restaurant, boutique pool, fitness, internet, business, spa. Thanks to all of the posters who made me confident to purchase this property. I wasn't too worried because I figured it had to be the Peabody, the Madison, or the Westin. Peabody would have been my first choice and it worked out great. Thanks betterbidding!!!
  4. I also want to mention that the Hilton City Center charges $24 per night for parking. After doing some research, I was able to get parking across the street between the hotel and the Boston Store for $24 total for the 3 1/2 days. There is a vending machine to purchase parking from. I just chose the 4 day package which totalled $24. It was literally across the street and appeared to be a safe place to park. It was however an open lot. I know some of you prefer covered garages.
  5. I purchased a stay through hotwire for july 2-5, 2 rooms, 2 persons per room for $55. It ended up being the Hilton City Center hotel. While I have not stayed here, I know people who have and they have endorsed this property. The amenities were listed as: Pet friendly Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower Thanks to everyone who previously posted. I was 99% sure it would be the Hilton based on input from here. Hotel parking is $24/day. If anyone knows cheaper alternative parking any help is appreciated.
