Going to Vegas in May and trying to ensure getting The Flamingo. I thought (by doing my homework) I could ensure my hotel through the 'name your own bid' route on Priceline by selecting 3.5 stars in the North srtip only (as this is THE only 3.5 star in that area listed on Priceline). BUT, then I am hesitant to bid because I recieve this message, in red, on the bidding page: >>Please note: The hotel we find may or may not be one that you saw on the previous page(s).>> Is this true?? The only 3.5 star on the strip through Priceline lists The Flamingo and Monte Carlo, but since Monte Carlo isn't in the North strip area, I was thinking it'd be a sure bet to get The Flamingo. Again, is the warning true??? Is there a chance Priceline would accept my bid and place us at a hotel not listed on their hotel options? Thanks, in advance, so much for your help with this...
