  1. I'm looking at HOTWIRE for May 9-11. There is a 4* Magnificant Mile North for $116 with the following ammenities - Free Internet, Pet friendly, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s, Business Center, Internet access, Spa Services, Accessible for the blind,Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, and Roll-in shower. It has a 90% customer recommendation rate. What hotel would you guess this describes best? Do you think it's worth pulling the trigger or waiting?
  2. Using the rebid strategy, I started at $60 went up in $5 invervals. I landed the Aria at $85!
  3. I prefer NOT to to stay at the Trump, so I will stay away from the Strip Vicinity North zone. My max bid at this point is $85, since I can get a hotel on Hotwire for $92. I tried yesterday at $60 and $65, no dice. After researching the available rebid zones, I'm ready to begin at $70 with a rebid zone strategy today. I believe the available rebid zones include (Boulder Strip, Fremont and Henderson)? If I don't land something today on Priceline, I'll probably just snag something on HOTWIRE. I'm assuming if rates are already that low, they won't be going anywhere but up. Do you agree? Of course, I will be using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links!
  4. I'd like to see what kind of deals are available for a 5* on the strip for 5/7 - 5/11. Before I begin, I wanted to make sure I know what hotels are available in each zone. It appears that the 5* hotels in Strip North are Palazzo, Venetian, and Wynn. The 5* hotel in the Strip Vicinity North is the Trump. However, I'm confused on what is considered the South Zone. It looks like the 5* options in the South Vacinity South include Aria, Cosmopolitan and Vdara? The pinned hotels lists shows a Strip South, but is that now the Strip Vicinity South? Hotwire is showing 5* hotels for these dates at $92ish. Where would you begin a Priceline bid? I just want the best hotel for the price, the location doesn't matter to me for this trip.
  5. The price came down to $65 today, so I went ahead and booked it. It was the Hampton Inn and Suites. YAY!
  6. There is a $66 3* downtown Milwaukee for 9/28 - 9/29. The amenities show as Indoor pool(s) Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Business Center Breakfast I'm wondering if it's the Hampton Inn and Suites?? I don't believe the Aloft offers a free breakfast. Any other ideas?? THANKS! (I will use the HOTWIRE link on the site to book!)
  7. Began bidding in April for (NMA-River North) for 3 stars and up hoping for a bargain. I was bidding daily from $50-$75 in $5 increments. I began including Millennium Park-Loop-Grant Park two weeks ago since I was getting worried about securing a room. I began this week bidding at $80 and hit today at $86. This hotel looks fine for our purposes, and it's close to a Red Line train.
  8. $51... 5/14/10 - 5/16/10 Bid up to $67 last week in the same area but started over today. I've stayed at this hotel before, and this is the lowest I've ever gotten it. Normally, I get it for around $65.
  9. Submitted bids of $75, $81, $86 (received counter offer to raise bid by $22), and $91 all the the Financial District. Booked through Betterbidding PRICELINE link!
  10. I'm a newbie to the board and Priceline, so this is probably a very easy question for someone with more experience. I am trying to bid on a hotel in San Fran's Financial District for 4/23-4/26. So far, I've submitted the following bids for a 4-star hotel: $75, $78, $81, and $86. After submitting my bid of $86 I received a message from Priceline that if I'd up my bid by $22, I could resubmit my bid immediately. I didn't do it, because I had never heard of that. Any advise would be appreciated.
