In my experience...Crowne Plaza offers free internet and the Westin Diplomat offers high speed internet but it is not free. Another distinction I have found is that the Westin Diplomat offers "Bed Choice" for an upcharge. Crowne Plaza does not.

It is all part of the same complex. However, the main tower is on the Beach. They also have rooms away from the beach alongside the golf course. The rooms by the golf course have a shuttle every thirty minutes to the main hotel. I will look and see if I can figure out how to guarantee a room in the beachside tower. When you book through the hotel directly, all rooms types are in the main tower except for Golf Location rooms. For every date I searched it said there were no Golf rooms available...that's not a guarantee though that they couldn't put you in one I guess.

I need help identifying a 3* hotel in Marathon area. 9/21-12 - 9/23/12 four adults, no children, 95% recommend. After I booked, I conducted another search, and the the recommendations and reviews were gone, but it was the same hotel. I know because I booked for different dates and got the Westin Diplomat again. There was another 4* in the same area for $87 for 4 adults, but it had an 85% recommendation, no option to select bedding type and it also listed free internet. Nothing is free at the Diplomat, but it is an awesome place! The only 4* hotel I found in the area that had free internet was Crowne Plaza. I booked at the same hotel with same options and rate for 9/23/12 - 9/25/12.
